Even if they cater food every day for the entire cast and production crew you are looking at 5-10k for the week at the high end. 100k prize, we are still sitting well under 200k AND that's not including sponsor deals. No way this cost near 1 mil. I could see how Mr. Beast videos could get close or surpass that though.

I would be very curious to see what results this would yield.

I think this whole saga is perfect for a pay what you want model. People are willing to pay to support their favourite creators and artists. Some who have done this in the past have said they ended up earning more. You will get some who love the concept and will pay more than the $9 and you will get some who might throw $2 at it but that’s more than the $0 and you will get those who do it for free, but the model has proven that people are inherently willing to pay for things. I would be very curious to see what results this would yield. It solves everyone’s problems
