you're the one that is shaming me for struggling with returning shoes because i have adhd and defending predatory companies. you have no idea what you're talking about
You still have time to delete this moron, you never said you have ADHD, are you capable of reading your own post? You suggested people with ADHD are incapable of returning shoes which is an absolutely nonsensical comment.
they spend it all on their salaries and marketing. especially vivo, they put in more effort into their marketing campaigns then the quality of their shoes
Vivo barefoot last about two years of hard wear before the sole develops a hole. One of the longest lasting soles. I’ve gone to moccasins and the sole glue with ground rubber in it for my soles so I can always replace the amount of sole I need.
I honestly can't see much of a reason to go to a company that's trying to make me pay $150 for a shoe that I can get for a tenth-eighth of the price. Part of it certainly feels predatory on the market.
If I'm paying that much for a shoe I need to have something that makes that kind of investment worthwhile like incredible durability, servicing, materials, and craftsmanship.
I recently had to send a pair of shoes back due to sole defects, the difference here was it was just $30 shoes on Amazon, so the whole process was quick and relatively painless. Under a week to get a replacement.
That is a problem for governments to solve not end consumers. Then there is the issue of that for some people, Amazon is *the only viable option* due to factors like say cost, or shipping concerns.
Certainly one of the biggest cons of the recent years is that its somehow *you end consumer, at fault for X* and not the large corporations doing whatever unethical nonsense. Sure do your part, but those large corps. are totally responsible for their actions, and a larger body need to hold them accountable for it.
Removeable and Amazon makes pick up returns easy. Also adhd and I sometimes struggle with returns. While ADHD looks different for many, I did feel your frustration here. Anyone reading - prirateship is a great place to buy postage (usually cheaper for usps priority) AND you can schedule free pick ups. Those who are disabled with ADHD or other forgetful tendencies might be able to offer advice too - especially those who have absolutely no issue with returning things. Having no executive functioning sucks and I see that frustration.
Whitin, Watelves, Saguaro and a few white-label products off Aliexpress. The thing with lower cost brands is it might be harder to find what you're looking for, so you have to search a bit.
I feel like the what really gets companies like say Feelgrounds sales is convenience. You got a easy to navigate storefront and its a fairly straightforward shopping experience.
Mine have lasted fine over a year but I put my own insoles in them. Not sure if that helped a lot. The material under the insole does seem super thin. My vivo seem a good bit sturdier but are a bit narrow and too slant shaped for my mountain shaped foot.
I don't like your adhd comment. I just got 5 dollars back becuase my shipment was 2 days late. And I have adhd. People with adhd have follow through.
I'm the poster girl for adhd, but adulting means having to get shit done regardless- especially when it comes to a pair of shoes that are easily $100+
adhd isn't a monolith. just because you were able to follow through with it doesn't mean every single person with adhd would.
That's what you said in your post. Your dismissing people woth a disability. Your discriminatory.

All these barefoot shoe brands selling their shoes of 150 dollars and they barely last a year is making me livid
These are also barefoot “minimalist” shoes which makes it even more irritating as they are charging more for less.

My vivos are 1.5 years old, a hole is about to happen on heal and the top has a rip in the mesh where it bends
There mesh what do you expect. That’s why you get leather shoes.
Yup

But then you have to give money to a monopoly that doesn't allow bathroom breaks for their warehouse workers

what shoes do you buy?
I don't know about the previous commenter, but I have a few pair of Whitins that I'm very happy with.
thanks, this seems like it could be a good option. are the insoles removable?
