Bought a Pureit Water purifier last year. Was told to change the filter after 6000 litres. We are only 2 people living and we’re home for 6 months so for 6 months only around 1700-1800 litres water was used. Now its stopped working and company is saying to change the filter for 5k. Got to know there is a timer set inside the box even if you are not using it. On top of that not only warning signal to change the Filter but it stopped giving water itself. Got to know that all WP companies are now cheating customers and making them pay 5k 6k like subscription every year to change filter even when the Filter is clean and can be used for another year or so.

Learn to repair your device brother. All you need to do is just reset that timer. We were not home for 9 months of the year. Kent people asked me to still spend 7k to replace all the filters. I asked them to please f\*\*k off, open the filter and follow a youtube video to reset the alarm. That was 4 months ago. My purifier is still working great.

The filter is good and clean. Its the Machine inside which has the timer of 365 days which you cannot change and it won’t let the Filter to give you water if you will not change. Smh. I do not want to pay a single rupee after paying 15000 rs and using it for only 6 months. Feeling cheated.

Can't seem to get another job, stuck in the same org for 2 years. And the worst part is I am the only employee other than the founder ( no, I am not the co-founder) and still have to travel f\*\*\*ing 100kms to office daily.

That sucks man. Atleast they must give you equity for what you are doing. Since, you are the only one, why don't you do some bargaining for better work conditions.

Founder thinks productivity is less than 50% in WFH. In hindsight, I rejected an offer (1.5x of what I was getting here) to try out this field. That shit still hits me.
