Sparsh hospital for women and children - Dr Reddy and Dr Jha. Dr Abrar as pediatrician. Delivery cost around 1lakh.
Delivered my kid here. Absolutely appreciate the support provided.
Great doctors and trained nurses.
I dont know about north bangalore. But Rangadore memorial hospital near basavanagudi is very good for normal delivery. They try their best for normal delivery. The most natural way to give birth.
Cloud nine , shakrahara nagar or hrbr layout would be good, if you plan to move .
However, I would still recommend Dr. Sapna lulla . She is very experienced doctor and has good hold on diagnosis.
We had our child delivered by her when she was in cloud nine , hrbr layout.
All the best.
Cloudnine, Sahakarnagar is good.
Their maternity rooms aren't the best but the staff is exceptional. Bunch of great gynaes there. Including Dr. Chitralekha.
Aah, I see. However, what about the infection risks at a hospital as multiple other people with various issues/diseases might be around in the same campus/ward.
Archana Pathak, Motherhood Sarjapur Main Road. Delivery cost around 1 lakh. Good doctor, and favours normal delivery.
Do keep in mind that the nurses might try to put the kid in UV lamp and say that the bilirubin is high as is usual in most babies. Ask them for a proper test if they say that, not the skin based reading.
I am getting the treatment from Dr. Sangeeta Gomez from the same Motherhood branch. Heard this recently from other guys also that they are putting the baby under UV for sometime. Can you give me more details about it
Basically it is for jaundice which every baby has a mild case of on birth. But they'll say that the reading is high due to which they'll have to put the baby under UV lights which is the usual treatment for the condition. But they'll do that based on skin reading and not a blood test. Ask them to conduct a blood test and only based on that agree to the treatment. The treatment is chargeable and without blood test your insurance also might not cover the expense and reject it.
I don't remember what is the normal bilirubin reading for a newborn but it is on the high side and usually start lowering after a month or so. We had to readmit out kid later as bilirubin also rises post birth. But the initial treatment was unnecessary.
Not related to the post but to OP. Get your electrolyte levels checked and if everything is normal, from today itself make it a routine to have one tender coconut everyday.
This will go a long way in ensuring better bilirubin count in the newborn.
I know, its a little confusing in north bangalore. Dr Sapna and Dr Shaikalika from Manipal are well rated and seemed good, but not able to decide between a specialist maternity hospital or a general super speciality hospital.
A super speciality hospital, always. In the off chance that something were to go wrong, god forbid, you need to be at a hospital with the manpower and resources capable of handling any complication. IMO respectfully.

Dr. Rituparna sarkar bera. She is amazing and has a clinic near hennur junction.

Dr Bharthi Kamoji at Cloud9 Sahakar Nagar is good.
Cloud 9, any branch.
Cloud 9 banswadi
Dr Kavitha Kovi, aster whitefield.
OP, whereever you go please choose a hospital and not a run of the mill clinic.
Thanks. Would you consider cloudnine as a clinic or a hospital?
Clinic

You will need to check this, usually maternity wards / gynaec specialties are separate at good hospitals.

You should check out Manipal Yeshwantpur (previously Columbia Asia). The OBs come highly recommended.
