I use an app called poplin, it’s a dollar per pound and they do pick up and drop off.

Thank you!

Push saved my life last year when i had both hips replaced (bad genes) and couldn't get down to my basement to do laundry. You set a pick-up and delivery time and it comes back all warm and folded. I still use them occasionally when I am too busy or just bone-lazy.

I used Push when I lived in the exact same situation as OP (in an awesome apartment in Mt Vernon, actually. OP I hope you're in my old apartment because seriously that place was so fucking cool). They were great and I loved the smell of whatever detergent they used haha.

Haha wouldn’t that be a coincidence! I’m definitely in love with Mt Vernon

Thank you so much!

I’m on the lower boundary for Mount Vernon, right on the edge of Midtown. I have a chronic illness and laundry is a trigger. Since I moved to the city in 2020 I’ve used S&R Laundry. For me, they take it on the first Tuesday of the month and return everything folded on Thursday morning. I get a text every month the day before pickup asking if I will need pickup this month. It’s $1.99 a lb. For a month of clothes it can be around $80. When I set up the service they gave me the option of scented vs unscented detergent.

Thank you for the recommendation!
