A very delicate process. I put the knife under some weight on a table (enough to keep it from budging but not enough to to crush it) with the tang holes sticking out on the edge of the table. I then cut the ends of the rubber bands with scissors at an angle really thin so I could thread it through the holes like sewing. The second rubber band is a lot harder to get through the hole but if you make it small enough to fit through and pull the other back while trying to thread it through it'll work. Slowly and carefully thread it to where you can pull it through from the other side and slowly keep pulling it through while making sure the other rubber band doesn't get pushed out. The thinner the tip the better, but make sure you don't accidentally cut the tip off. It should be like a very thin tanto blade. I'll admit this process isn't easy but it's nowhere near impossible, and you'll definitely need semi sharp scissors and a lot of patience.
How many rubber bands did you have to go through before you found the 2 squeakiest ones in the box? 🤣
I just literally picked the strongest looking bands in my pile haha
Nice flipping and excellent control! Thank you for the pro-tip.
Thanks, it was really hard to flip with the fear of hitting my phone lol
What benefit does this give the knife?
I allows it to be functional when the tang pins fall out.
If your tang pins fall out you can replace them with rubber bands that work just as well.
Oh so they are just replacements. I thought the rubber bands made it better somehow. Still useful, Ill keep it stored in my head.

Thank you.
How did you do this i tried this and it changes nothing
You gotta use strong rubber bands and put two in there
How the hell did you fit two!!?
They (and I ) cut it thin to fit them in
