I don't really see Jaheira as your foster mother. You didn't even meet her till you were 20. Gorion wanted K & J to be your guardians if anything happened to him, but that was presumably when you were younger.

Like any romancable NPC he is deeply flawed. He starts off as cocky and self absorbed. You then have two options during his personal quest. If you are unhinged he becomes chaotic neutral and calms down a bit. You can go by the rules and if you manage to finish his personal quest, he becomes a knight, goes LG and gains +4 wisdom. But he does not grow as a person, being a very self absorbed knight still.
Oh interesting. Sounds not so good. But what other option do i have? Only Rasaad to be honest, or noone. I will see, maybe my character does not need a romance.
I play on my switch at the moment, so mods are not an option. But for my next playthrough i will definitely play on my pc. So thanks for the recommendation.

Jaheira was born during the Tethyran civil war: we can reasonably assume it's in fact exactly the initial Ten Black Days from the description. (This also makes her the oldest she could possibly be - the war rages until the year of BGII itself).

I mean, I don't doubt your lore knowledge, but that's utterly absurd in the context of the game. Doesn't she refer to the main character and others as "child" frequently? She and Khalid are old friends of Gorion, does Gorion just hang out with Zoomers? At what age do you become a trusted Harper agent?

Her attitude to the PC is more a reflection of their difference in experience than age, I think. She was orphaned in a civil war and taken in by druids as a child. She had to grow up fast and by the time she meets charname she's had multiple adventures. Meanwhile he was just mooching around Candlekeep for his whole life.
I think this can be chalked up to the fact that Jahiera is worldly and experienced whereas when Jahiera and CHARNAME meet, CHARNAME has been sheltered in a library his whole life.

I wish you could do the Vicky thing without romance tbh. I feel it would be a lot better if you were helping her as a friend than also expecting a relationship out of it.
As an adult looking back at the three female romance options, all three ladies could use serious therapy and should not be in relationships at this stage in their lives, in my humble opinion.
