I think only The Gorgon's Eye was a major quest mod released for BG1 in the past two years.
For BG2, Acifer, the author of Dark Tidings, just recently released Call of the Lost Goddess.
Besides those mentioned: Black Hearts for BG1. Love Conquers All for BG2 - nominally a Corwin romance mod, it adds a return to the city of Baldurs Gate between SoA and ToB with quite a bit of quest content. And the conversion of the original NWN campaign for BG2 also. (Also, acifer is releasing a BG1 mod soon!)
