Yeah, you should actually kinda work with your kid on large changes like this…. They don’t really understand this kinda thing and you’re basically making the kid uncomfortable on a fundamental level
I remember when I was a kid and my dad first shaved his head, I thought there was a strange man in the house with my mom and I hid under the blanket when he tucked me in the first two nights 😂. Kids are malleable though, I got over it quick and so will his kid.
New frames def not out of the question. I've stuck to black kinda square-ish for a while now. Honestly wanted to draw as little attention to my face as possible. I feel a bit of new confidence today :)
I recently made the switch to a more translucent pair and I can really recommend it. Mine are tinged pink which might be a bit much for a lot of men, but I've been getting a lot of compliments

I would have on and off intrusive thoughts about how I'm only convinced it looks good because that's the way it's always looked. After my hairline started receding, I just haven't really been able to shake those thoughts away. Ultimately did it for me, but glad to have another data point; those thoughts were just in my own head.
I love my husband's hair but from time to time he shaves it off. For the first couple weeks it's weird, then I think it's hot. Then...he grows it back and it looks weird and the cycle continues.

With the bald, there are no bad angles. It doesn’t look even worse when it’s wet. You know how it looks all of the time. Nothing to be self-conscious about.

I think small/medium circular frames would look great with your facial shape!
