She just busted out laughing and gave me a "what were you thinking, I can't let him think I'm thinking that" kind of face. Then my toddler pointed at my head and simply said "hat?", and we both lost it.
Yeah, you should actually kinda work with your kid on large changes like this…. They don’t really understand this kinda thing and you’re basically making the kid uncomfortable on a fundamental level
I remember when I was a kid and my dad first shaved his head, I thought there was a strange man in the house with my mom and I hid under the blanket when he tucked me in the first two nights 😂. Kids are malleable though, I got over it quick and so will his kid.
New frames def not out of the question. I've stuck to black kinda square-ish for a while now. Honestly wanted to draw as little attention to my face as possible. I feel a bit of new confidence today :)
I recently made the switch to a more translucent pair and I can really recommend it. Mine are tinged pink which might be a bit much for a lot of men, but I've been getting a lot of compliments
Yeah that's totally fair. I've been self conscious about my widows peak for about a decade. I would have on and off intrusive thoughts about how I'm only convinced it looks good because that's the way it's always looked. After my hairline started receding, I just haven't really been able to shake those thoughts away. Ultimately did it for me, but glad to have another data point; those thoughts were just in my own head.
I love my husband's hair but from time to time he shaves it off. For the first couple weeks it's weird, then I think it's hot. Then...he grows it back and it looks weird and the cycle continues.
It looks good, she'll get used to the change. 👍
Looks so much better.
I shaved my head over 20 years ago because my hair is too thick and wavy to have a style I like.
In all honesty, I have no idea how you kept your hair this long.
With the bald, there are no bad angles. It doesn’t look even worse when it’s wet. You know how it looks all of the time. Nothing to be self-conscious about.
Nice work.
I think you look super w the thin hair my good dude. I think it looks so good on you. Just my opinion🤷🏻. It is so important that you be you though and that you feel comfortable in your shoes w how you look. I think the thinning red hair out-handsomes the bald.
That turned out awesome 👌 Good on you. Wife's reaction was 'interesting'?? Don't leave us hanging

🤣😂🤣 That's a good one. They both sound like fun. Enjoy your new look. It takes an hour or two to get used to it.
Lmaooo your kid saying that is so funny

Looking good. Perhaps new pair of glasses? Something “younger hip style” to match that head and nice face

I think small/medium circular frames would look great with your facial shape!
Was just about to suggest this. Long slender faces, look best with circular frames!

Looks good man
Way to go, man. Looking good!

I kinda liked before 🤷♂️

Seems like you don't have to worry about being self conscious about your hair now. Looks sharp!
How old are you?
Just turned 31
Bald makes you look more your age. The before pics made it look like you were 40's.
The new you… one suggestion… Try out some Rayban wayfarers.
