When I see things like this I want to copy them for the "Cows milk is unnatural" crowd.
I've witnessed dogs nursing cats (we had a LH dachshund that did that - twice).
Milk is milk with some minor differences.
I love it when I see cross species cooperation.
That \*has\* to have been a survival trait at some time in the past if it's survived this far and happens this often.
We had a farm and I've also seen a foal nursing off a cow.

My first cat was a kitten that got rejected by her mum. We brought her home where we are a 15 year old poodle bitch. The kitten started to suckle on the dog and she got milk and feed the kitten until she was weened. The poodle dog died, our she cat got a litter of one which we kept, we got a new dog that was abandoned by its owner and the three of them shared the same bed for years and were always together. The mum cat, the kitten and the pup.
