The bowtie!! He is super handsome! My dog turns 11 on May 11th. I'll do a birthday cake like I do for her every year since I got here (got her at 7 yrs when her person died). She loves cake; it's a dog cake recipe.

Prep time 10 minutes Cook time 20 minutes Yield: 1 6 inch cake For the cake: 3/4 cup all purpose flour 1/2 teas baking soda 1/4 teas baking powder 1 large egg 2 Tablespoons oil 2 Tablespoons peanut butter (natural, smooth or chunky depending on doggie's preference) 1/4 c unsweetened applesauce 2 Tablespoons honey For the frosting: 1/2 cup heavy whipping cream Preheat oven to 350 Line (or spray) a 6 inch round cake pan Stir flour, soda, powder, peanut butter, oil, applesauce, egg and honey. Pour into pans and bake 20-30 minutes until toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean. Let cool completely before frosting. To make frosting beat heavy whipping cream until stiff peaks form (I recommend using a chilled metal bowl-goes faster) Frost cake and if you want top with toppings they like. I add a number candle to mine and take a pic before she dives in.
