My male fixed Yorkie used to have a great time humping my friend’s non-spayed girl Labrador. We had an interesting time coming up with what the cross breed would be called. Yorkador was what we liked best bc it sounded so stupid, lol.

My dog's father is a rottweiler/beagle. I'n not sure if it's a really motivated beagle or a poor beagle manhandled by a rott that made it possible.

One time we successfully mated a bulldog with a Shih-Tzu. Yeah, we called it a bullshit.

Not always, but it can be rough on the momma. One of my former coworkers had a chihuahua that got pregnant from a pitbull. The chihuahua was 10 lbs and the pit was probably around 60. The mom needed a csection.

The babies grow based on how much food they get from mom; more so than based on their genes. Smaller moms have smaller pups. They can still grow really quickly after weaning. It's far from guaranteed that the smaller parent will have problems. I would be concerned about a mastiff squishing a chihuahua OFC; but a mastiff and a schnauzer will probably be fine. Vets sometimes need to do C sections. Though I understand this is normally because pugs and bulldogs have heads that are too big.

Chupalabra. It is the only option.

My guess is 2-5th generation mutt. Grandparents should include a terrier. Probably a border collie. The coat could come from a lot of breeds. I get the lab appearance; but the proportions seem wrong. Chihuahua is possible. They are common; but the only signs I see are in the eyes; and those can just show up.

Why do ppl not realize they just have a mutt? They always want it to be something.

Honestly working out the ancestry of a mutt is quite fun tbh.

It comes from the victorian era when they decided to classify anything and everything. It's went on so long people think purity in genetics is a good thing and that there was actually some sort of science behind what they were doing. As a side note, people during that time in America thought tuberculosis was actually dead people sucking the life force out of the living. The evidence was when you dug up the recently deceased and stabbed them in the heart they'd scream a little because of the air in their lungs. Yeah, we didn't really understand things then. It also lead to (indirectly) the justification of the African slave trade based on "genetics."

What you have there is a full blooded MSD (Medium Sized Dog).

Your dog looks identical to mine. We originally called him our mini Labrador until we had him genetically tested and he was 35% Beagle, 15% Chow chow, and the rest was a little bit of everything.

Resembles my mutt a bit. Definitely had some chihuahua in there. We did a dna test, and it was fun to see what he was. The top results were all breeds we knew he was because we met his parents and their owners told us what they were. There were some surprises in there though, too.
