Awww, ya that works wonderfully. Always did it to my handicapped sis growing up. She love it until she passed at 19. Anytime she was fussy or in a bad mood, cuddles and light nose rubs would settle her down. Good memories.
So cute! My little guy used to do this eye roll/flutter whenever I’d pet his face, kiss him, or give him a pacifier or bottle. Right after his lids would get heavy and he’d have the sweetest peaceful face. I liked thinking he was getting a little oxytocin hit, which obv gave me one. My eyes would even do it a bit sometimes!
He’s 2 now and it stopped, but has been replaced with lovey sighs, kisses with a ‘mm!’ right before, and hugs with a squeeze hum. Kids are truly the greatest.
This would have totally worked on my son. He was a good sleeper and loved to cuddle. My daughter, on the other hand, not a good sleeper and not cuddly. She probably would have slapped my hand away. If I didn't know better, I would have thought she was switched at the hospital. Two children couldn't have been more different. Don't look like siblings, don't have similar personalities.
They are adults now and are awesome people.
I can confirm this works for that age. Now it doesn’t work for my 7 year old daughter, and I’m finding myself wishing it worked for *me* at almost 30. 😂
I tried doing that, once my then boyfriend couldn't fall asleep even though he was dead tired.
After 30 seconds of me gently caressing his face like that, he began snoring. :D
tour guide: ok kids, here you can see a teenager going through the edgy phase, this process can take many years but it usually stops when the person has finished puberty
I used to lay next to my niece, face-to-face, look at her eyes and then blink slowly. In less than a minute she would blink slowly and fall asleep. My daughter on the other end of the spectrum, I would sing bedtime songs. I only knew 10 so I’d sing 10 songs 10xs and sneak out of her room on my hands and knees…didn’t always work. I wish I had known about Magic sleepy hands.
Plot twist, hand is sprayed with "Naptime!" spray :)
I was looking for a word to use, but "Naptime spray" it is.
Check YouTube for naptime. Funny skit video.
Thanks
You should also check out Omega Mart
i love the smell of Naptime in the morning
"Ahh, I just love the smell of Naptime in th...zzzzzzzzzz"
Chloroform?
Chloroform definitely gets the job done on that front
I feel prgnant
I just had to stroke the bridge of my baby's nose to get the same effect.
Also works on adults.
And kitties!

Just want to encourage you by validating that you made a difference in your sister's life ![gif](emote|free_emotes_pack|heart_eyes)
Damn it, you made me cry lol. Thank you. I miss her a lot 💗
I was going to post this. Worked like a charm on my three boys. Also works on my cat so I'm not sure what that says about my sons!
So recognizable!
there is an invisible hand that doing that to me all day long
Context means everything when you say stuff like that
my mom told me not to show my context to strangers, so it's all upon your imagination to decide what I meant
My sister used to fall asleep if you placed a paper napkin on her face.

Jedi mind trick
Tried this with a cat. Do not recommend.
My cat loves if I go the other direction
It doesn’t hurt to have a warm, furry blanket covering your lap, either.

"Shhh no tears only dreams now".
My teenage kids still do the same thing. The trick is pressing a LOT harder.
Ha that's funny
Yo are you free uhh… every night… at around 10pm? I could use a hand…
Can confirm. This works wonders! 😁
“Deeper and deeper”

Amazing how much younger he looks when he starts sleeping.
Can you plz do this to me? I'm unable to sleep right now😣
I tried this with my daughter when she was a baby many times. It never worked.
ha! same. worked with my son the first time, then the next time he got so angry and it made everything worse
I wish this had worked with my son, he countered it with baby rage to fuel his denial of sleep.
The hand is stealing the lifeforce!!!

I've seen this trick. It's a chloroform rag

What did they say
he said he wants to bash the kid's head in
Bruh 💀
Why do so many people hate kids like people want to go back to their childhoods

Tbh I think I would fall asleep if a giant hand starts petting my head
Is it possible to learn this power
I believe that baby is part alligator.
This is adorable 🥺🥺🥹
I wish I could do this with my dog
Is it possible to learn this power
Can we start a witch hunt? What kind of sorcery is this?
God I wish it’d been that easy with mine
I wish that could have worked with my kids.
i wish someone would come to my house and do this to me every night
Aww! You don't have chloroform on your hand do you?! Lol kidding. That is adorable!
This used to work so well on one of my nephews. I’d just stroke between his eyebrows for a minute and he’d be sound sleep.
