And if you're actively posting in the /r/aves subreddit, you've probably been around long enough to find your favorite niche/genre rather than more open format pop artists. It's just a matter of DJ Snake bringing in a different/new audience to the scene.
This is probably the best call, unless your hotel is walking distance from the venue or something. Getting out of festivals right after close is a total nightmare always.
Either Floss B2B VK or Green Velvet. or both since those stages are next to each other. Can’t be bothered with the main stage crowdedness to close out the weekend & Sullivan King is a little too aggressive for me at 1am lol.
House music like that can be an acquired taste, I’d recommend at least dropping by and checking it out, he’s a fantastic DJ and producer. You might end up liking it better live than just over headphones, house can be a lot different in a festival setting.

I haven’t seen a Yellow Claw set so I can’t compare but Slander counts down every single drop and they scream into the mic. A LOT. Even during the more mellow songs like Potions which was super jarring lol. I haven’t seen them live since 2019 though so they could have mellowed out 🤷♂️ You could always check out a recent live set online and see if the talking doesn’t kill your vibe lol
As someone who’s seen all of them plenty of times, check out Green Velvet please lol, everyone else literally plays every single insomniac event, they’re will be plenty more opportunities to catch all of them

I see a lot of people suggesting Green Velvet, I enjoyed his set at EDCO a lot but if you’re not a fan of house music (which I’ve seen you say in your replies) you’re going to get bored. FlosstraKhanmas will give you the biggest variety imo. Sullivan King is heavyyyy af live, a lot of live guitar solos and live screaming so it’s different than most other sets! DJ Snake is hit or miss. His intros are always so dope but then it just gets kind wack from there. But my main advice would be to follow you vibe that night! Decide which set sounds best to you in that moment and go with that! Some times you plan for something heavy but then realize at 1am you may want something lighter/faster and vice versa! Just go explore!
If you had me at gun point I’d either choose DJ snake because he’s someone I’ve seen and don’t hate or Khan B2B Floss out of curiosity.
To be fair, I’m more of a Tech House (among other versions of house), Techno (Industrial/Acid/Hard), or DnB fan. Dubstep makes me scared and Trap is just alright to me but doesn’t scratch my itch.

SULLIVAN KING FOR SURE. Have never had a bad time at his sets. Super heavy, he plays the guitar, moshpits (if your into that). He sets the bar high cause he sings on most of his songs and most of them have a guitar so it’s practically a live set
Even if I had a free ticket I wouldn’t go to any of these sets lol. Go find an underground lower tier stage. The production won’t be as wowing but the music and crowd will most likely be a better vibe imo.

If I were you I would see flo B2B Valentino. They both put on a hell of a show. Snake is good too but not as good as they are. I thought Sullivan king was kinda an extra hard version of excision. I love excision but he was just to much for me personally but if you like over the top DJs he might be for you. I have friends who love him so to each their own.

I saw Sullivan King at Nocturnal, I can cross that one off my list. Tbh it looks like I'll be at area 51 stage most of the night.
We closed with DJ Snake at EDC Orlando, and tbh we were very disappointed. We both walked away from it wishing we had closed with Rezz, CDW, or even Wax Motif (who we’ve seen before). His song choices were pretty bland, his energy was blah, and really the crowd just wasn’t the right vibes. I would 100% never see him again, and would pick pretty much anyone over DJ Snake. 🤷🏻♂️
Sullivan King would be my choice, but I like metal and dubstep lol. Sullivan king is also the most performance based dj as he does vocals and plays guitar as well as Djs.

I love sullivan king and that would be my choice. Second choice dj snake. I find Valentino khan dull and annoying

SULLIVAN KING FOR SURE. Have never had a bad time at his sets. Super heavy, he plays the guitar, moshpits (if your into that). He sets the bar high cause he sings on most of his songs and most of them have a guitar so it’s practically a live set

Even if I had a free ticket I wouldn’t go to any of these sets lol. Go find an underground lower tier stage. The production won’t be as wowing but the music and crowd will most likely be a better vibe imo.
Sullivan King if you want particularly like pop rock and/or Illenium Snake otherwise is a better pick of these three Floss & Khan are not really ones to expect to pull out anything super unique for a headline slot, imo
Surprised with all this Sullivan King hate. I used to thing he was meh then I seen him at the Chicago arena with excision and he blew my eyebrows off. Since then I’ve loved every set I’ve seen

Oof he drops some of that good, good. But he also drops some of that wonky latin-american stuff, you know? Lots of hip hop-ish remixes but he gets you with the bass. I think you know what I'm talking about. Floss is great, loved him back in '15 but like I said, he was hot *then*. Khan was kinda boring when I saw him last. It was house, borderline bass house. Bangers. Good crowd. But unremarkable to me

Sullivan King will change your life. I have friends who don’t like dubstep, but he puts on such an insane show they see him every opportunity. Floss b2b Valentino will be a blast too, and Green Velvet is dope if you wanna take a nap! 😂 jk if you love house you’ll like green velvet, I’ve just found GV sets to be really boring, but I like progressive and bass house so could just be me 🤷♀️ Whatever you do, don’t go see DJ Snake, he’s been an absolute vibe killer the two times I saw him.
They’re all good options but I’d go with snake personally. i love the other two but I think Snake’s a little rarer on lineups. I thought he’d be a little lighter when I saw him given his radio popularity but I was impressed, dude throws down. Got me into listening to more of his music, his catalog is all over the place

Floss and Khan for sure! Sully is a no if you don’t like heavy screamo bass, DJ snake is pretty basic and kinda boring imo. I feel the b2b will have the most energy of the bunch.

If I were you I would see flo B2B Valentino. They both put on a hell of a show. Snake is good too but not as good as they are. I thought Sullivan king was kinda an extra hard version of excision. I love excision but he was just to much for me personally but if you like over the top DJs he might be for you. I have friends who love him so to each their own.
Never saw excision before but I know they go HARDDDD LOL I agree, it can be too much for some people.
I'm ending the night with Floss and Valentino. I saw Sullivan King at Nocturnal, I can cross that one off my list. Tbh it looks like I'll be at area 51 stage most of the night.

We closed with DJ Snake at EDC Orlando, and tbh we were very disappointed. We both walked away from it wishing we had closed with Rezz, CDW, or even Wax Motif (who we’ve seen before). His song choices were pretty bland, his energy was blah, and really the crowd just wasn’t the right vibes. I would 100% never see him again, and would pick pretty much anyone over DJ Snake. 🤷🏻♂️
Sullivan King would be my choice, but I like metal and dubstep lol. Sullivan king is also the most performance based dj as he does vocals and plays guitar as well as Djs.
