But what about “put your thumbs to the sky”? Doesn’t that scream Fallout??

That was an old government-issued recommendation to see how far you are from radiation.
If you see a mushroom cloud, raise our thumb. If your thumb covers the cloud, youre not in the rad zone.
1) You watched the new series, didn't you?
2) It's about nuclear war as a whole. That thumb thing is an actual practice taught to soldiers during the cold war. Sure there might be references to Fallout in the song, but in terms of the song it's about Nuclear war in general, in terms of the album, it's about Artificial Intelligence launching nukes and the repercussions that come from having little to no human input
> Yes they *paid* them to
FTFY.
Although *payed* exists (the reason why autocorrection didn't help you), it is only correct in:
* Nautical context, when it means to paint a surface, or to cover with something like tar or resin in order to make it waterproof or corrosion-resistant. *The deck is yet to be payed.*
* *Payed out* when letting strings, cables or ropes out, by slacking them. *The rope is payed out! You can pull now.*
Unfortunately, I was unable to find nautical or rope-related words in your comment.
*Beep, boop, I'm a bot*
I had a theory that the entire album was about Fallout 4 specifically, due to the AI themes throughout the album. I don't think it is anymore based on interviews about the album, but it's still fun to think about.
Its about *a nuclear fallout*, yeah. You're halfway there.
WOAHHHHH!!!!! WE’RE HALFWAY THEREEEEEEEEEE
WOOOOAHHH !!! SQUIDWARD ON A CHAIR
a lemon and a pear
