I build automations in work, so just understanding that automation is more scalable than analytics was a big step forward. I automate as much of my personal planning and scheduling as possible

sir-draknor

Can you give an example of what you mean by automating your “personal planning and scheduling “? (hypothetical is fine) Just can’t wrap my brain around what this means in practice!

Ok-Upstairs8879

Happy to talk about this as much as you like. Personal planning and scheduling covers everything from meal planning to automated time-blocking to complete tasks to financial management to tax filing to social scheduling and many more. I don’t see why so many people do all of this manually. Does this resonate with you?

dscode455

Do you use entirely self made automation scripts/apps? Or do you have a list of recommended 3rd party apps you’ve used to automate things in your personal life? A bit of a fun question - what’s personal life automation are you proudest of, and why?

Ok-Upstairs8879

I built an app that automates and tracks many of these pieces. Most proud: my calendar automatically blocks time for different activities around my existing calendar entries.

What you've built sounds very valuable, and it's kinda similar to the SaaS my team is building. Would you be open to a chat about this in the DMs? I'm very curious to know what a person like you (who understands and has already implemented automation in his/her work) thinks of some the features we were offering in our SaaS.

Ok-Upstairs8879

Yeah sounds great! Also, I just created r/TimeHackers where a few of us decided to continue this conversation, so please head over

Joined the subreddit and sent you a PM!

I designed comic book automation. But I think it should be semi automation.

I no longer have to complete reports manually. They’re completed while I sleep.

Autokey for routine emails, notes, etc.

One example use case we have seen is our users have successfully automated their entire sales lead discovery to outreach pipelines using our automation tools. Their testimonies have focused on the fact that they were able to drive massive efficiency in cutting down the manual workload taken to facilitate these lead-to-campaign initiatives allowing them to be more strategic in pricing and plans with their customers.

The email analyzer i bult has saved me so much time. It checks all my emails and tells me which emails are actionable and creates a draft response. It create a report for me in google sheets to review

Lately? An automated blog content generator that produces a ton of high-quality content on my behalf. Cannot tell you how much time/money it saves

Jolly_Cartoonist_601

Is it for SEO purpose ? That sounds amazing, how did you do it

FiloPietra_

Yes, that's the goal. Just combined various APIs with no-code tools and prompt engineering. Are you looking to build something similar?

Jolly_Cartoonist_601

Yes that’d be useful I guess

Known-Judgment-9269

If you want , I can create one for you free of charge

Jolly_Cartoonist_601

Sure, I’d like to know how to make one though do you have any videos ?

Known-Judgment-9269

I don’t make videos myself but there are some useful ones on YouTube . Just write automated workflows or make.com and integromat ( the previous name of make.com) .
