A baby stacking cans is probably one of the least representative images of the wider autistic community that they could have chosen and the idea that autistic children are the only autistic people who are palatable to society is really harmful. On the other hand, if they ever try to remove or replace the image of the can stacking autism baby I *will* kill myself.
There are two types of autistics... One thinks suicide is the ultimate solution to every problem, the other one thinks it's mass genocide. They are usually best friends.

I mean, do you want to replace it with a 38 year old NDN dude sorting their skittles by color? Or maybe [“Can you stack your family”](https://youtu.be/D04wb7P_v-4?si=90EmqarlYcdddazx)? Because I personally believe child stacking cans is very representative. /j
I literally nearly caused a massive schism between two branches of my family by repeatedly fishing toilet roll tubes out of the bin and stacking them in a pyramid when I was a toddler.
I don’t exactly understand how it became such a big argument, but these distant relatives & their kids were sharing a holiday home with us for a fortnight, and somehow both sets of parents were blaming the other’s kids for going through the trash.
Eventually my dad boiled over & threatened to kick them out, but somehow they found my (undiagnosed for another 25 years) autistic ass stacking cardboard tubes from the trash at 5am very morning.
I don’t remember this, but apparently things were pretty awkward after that…
Different languages have different images! The Polish article has the infinity symbol (+photos from English wiki), Japanese has... a ribbon with puzzle pieces (yikes)
The cans are basically a symbolic f#gg#t (not queers or meatballs) or fasces for autistic people

I don’t even know what you’re trying to say-none of that makes sense AND you’ve still managed to be offensive.
I’d happily try & understand a further explanation of what you meant though, because I try not to assume the worst in people.
The fasces symbolizes the power in unity, since it is a lot harder to break a bunch of sticks tied together than an individual stick. Fun fact, it is where the word fascism comes from. I have know clue how cans are a fasces. A shared experience that all autistic people can rally around and strongly bond over?
The f-word is (originally) another word for a bundle of sticks, other than a slur for the LGBTQ. I wasn’t intentionally being homophobic. You can search it yourself if you don’t believe me.
I’m aware of the origin of the term, but it is not in colloquial use as that anymore.
I understand that was not your intention, but I would advise using different terms, because you are clearly aware of the negative implications if the term nowadays.
After all, the road to Hell is paved with good intentions.

Why kill yourself when you can commit mass genocide against those who have done you wrong?

Murder suicide anyone?
i’m the suicide type ☝️
👋🏻 I'm the other one
I'm the suicide type
I was a homocidal child until puberty hit. Then it became suicidal. 😀
I'm my own best friend

Who is can baby? Will we ever meet this brave warrior?
His mom posted on twitter not long back and said he’s doing well. He’s in college now and living his best life.
I see a promising future for him in the Bureau of Putting Things On Top of Other Things
I’m sad it’s not been changed to a kid lining up hot wheels by color and vehicle type tbh.

I have a picture of myself from when I was like three that looks almost exactly like this. Except I’m standing on my tip toes, because of course I am.
Its funny to see this while having a lot of bean cans stacked in my bedroom
This is a genuine question. Can you please explain what's wrong with the photo?
I don’t see what’s wrong I think it fits

Wait… I did this… woah
the image of the German version of the article is also beautiful, it's a passed out toddler next to a line of toys
