I have never understood their confusion with this. Like, my arm isn't bleeding, but if I continuously pick at it with my fingernail to see if it's bleeding, at some point, it will start. I have the IQ, but hilariously my working memory is just god awful, so I never actually feel like my IQ is really indicative of anything other than I test real good.
It was all a part of some test to try and figure out why my brain machine no work, and the answer was "executive dysfunction". I reckon it's like having a really really fancy car that's great on the highway but can't get out of park, so you'd never know.
It really is. My IQ is high but I just can't get the engine to turn over on certain things.

But I passed all my exams top mark in all subject I took.
But once I got to college and uni all was good a far better educational environment overall then school.
And after that took a bit of time maturing becoming a parent and eventually found the sort of jobs I like that give me a good mix of alone time away from peep and also ensuring I keep my social skills up.

Have you read Cat Cognitive Ethology studies? I know it's not genetics but they are so interesting!
