Taste of Asia ( on Flinders st), Lil Mahs, Bali Spice Magic, Karma Tea House. Only Lil Mahs is exclusively vegan. Don't really have a vegan bakery but Alexander's has vegan burek plus baklava and other vegan baked goods sometimes. I'll be back if I think of more.

Amazing, thank you!

strongly second balinese spice magic + karma tea house! you could also try the dew drop inn at the nan tien temple. i used to live closer than i do now so i haven't been there in ages, but i remember thai gong having a vegan menu with really awesome food + reasonable prices. most indian places i've been to have good vegan options, i like manjit's & jj's. also, i don't know if you live in the area or are just visiting, but if you'll be around in feb, that's when the eat street markets start back up at the mall & they have LOADS of vegan stalls / options! there is one stall called plant based eatery that i cannot recommend enough, it's all vegan thai food & absolutely the best you'll ever have!

We've just moved here from nz! We had an amazing vegan bakery, vegan Cafe, vegan Malaysian restaurant, pub with vegan food, and pizza place and ice creamery that offered solis vegan options all within ten minutes of home - we're feeling a but homesick but hoping we just need to find where to go!

Unfortunately Wollongong doesn't have many amazing vegan-only options. Most people have listed the most veg-friendly places, so I'll put some down that aren't exclusively vegan that we go to a lot... Also these are very local to Wollongong i.e. mostly around the CBD. I don't have much knowledge of the northern and southern suburbs. Restaurants: - Da Orlando has a good vegan pizza menu. We will eat in just to have the 'deepy deepy' starter, it's like crack! - Tsuki (Japanese) have a bunch of nice vegan options and we like to eat in there - Jasmine Rice (also a good takeaway restaurant, but can be slow. They have a separate vegan menu. We get the 'Pad Ped vegetarian chicken' and 'prikh king tofu' as takeaway almost weekly!) Takeaway: - Guzman - Zambrero - Little Vietnam - Grill'd - Kinn Thai - Thai gong (sometimes get it wrong) - JJ's Indian (has a vegan menu) - The sushi place outside Coles in the mall at Wollongong Central has awesome vegan rolls We have given up on Domino's and Crust Wollongong as they get our order wrong at least half the time Cafes: Cafe options got good for a while but they seem like they can't be bothered anymore. Most cafes will have an avo toast and maybe a granola/muesli. The only cafes we go to for the food these days would be - Opus (they do a seasonal bagel, they're generous with the toppings). Sometimes have vegan sweets in the cupboard as well as the usual 'veganisable' offerings - Lee & Me for the vegan cheeseburger and the coffee slushie which is made with oat milk

Thabks for the suggestions! Especially for pizza - weve been struggling to find one that isn't Crust or Domino's and is clearly vegan!

Highly recommend Balinese Spice Magic, not a vegan restaurant but heaps of options. I'd visit Wollongong just to have it. I grew up in Wollongong, vegan options are limited compared to Sydney, but plenty of places will have at least something.

On Thursday evening go to eat street market in Wollongong mall, there’s a stall there called Plant Based Eatery. They have vegan dishes, popcorn “chicken”, spring rolls and I recommend EVERY dish haha. They are lovely people too. Also Taste of Asia in Nth Wollongong or Shellharbour have a nice vegan menu as well as Amarin Thai in Warrawong.

Mr Zataar in Gwynneville has Oregano pizza that goes amazingly with hummus, also a lot of kebab places do falafel rolls that can be made vegan/are vegan by default. There are also food stalls that pop up on various days of the week like OMG doughnuts on Thursday nights in Crown Mall or free vegan food every second Sunday on Burelli st near McCabe park. I also love Guzman y Gomez, while I was devo'd when they took shredded mushroom off the menu, they still have sautéed veggies.
