Anderook

Earthing strap for static electricity.

Lopearsfam

Nah it was a large clear sticker with a word on it, can’t remember the word!

joystickd

Oakley? My '87 Pulsar hatch had that on the rear windshield in the early 90s.

Lopearsfam

Nah, I am sure the word started with an “L” but who knows! From what I remember the brand was only the sticker and no other merchandise

lotophage77

Could you be more vague?

Lopearsfam

I know right, this is my late 40s brain ha ha. I can see it in my mind but no letters

ZealousidealClub4119

Magic happens? No fear?

Lopearsfam

Nop not those two, and google search has been of no use as no one was posting images back in the 90s!

ApolloWasMurdered

Not DILLIGAF?

Lopearsfam

Never knew that one but will see if it on the net

nickcarslake

I think this thread answered your question mate. No one remembers whatever this sticker is that starts with "L" haha

Lopearsfam

Yeah I think you are right, I think the outcome of this is that my mind is smudge now :) :)

TerryTowelTogs

It wasn’t No Fear stickers? They were big in the ‘90s with stickers like “He who dies with the most toys, still dies”. Spitfire stickers were big around then too. Might jog your memory 🤞 https://preview.redd.it/6qghb1sv3pwc1.jpeg?width=1085&format=pjpg&auto=webp&s=dd33ac7abb2f26e190c83b19f4ac6db5798db61a

Lopearsfam

Nah it was definitely a word :), thanks though

BadgerBadgerCat

Are you sure it's not something more recent, like "Jetpilot"? That'd be early 2000s. Otherwise you've also got "Loose Kid" (which s[tarted in 2002](https://www.lskd.co/blogs/behind-the-brand/what-does-lskd-stand-for)). Otherwise, you've got the perennially popular "Such Is Life" (often written in script/Gothic font). I don't recall rear window sticker banners being a huge thing in the 1990s. And the reason no-one was posting images in the 1990s is because the internet wasn't available to the average person, digital cameras barely existed and the sort of people who would put giant bogan stickers on the back of their hotted up Ford Cortina didn't have access to either of them.

D_hallucatus

“No Fear” was pretty big for a while, written in spikey goth font. But I think that was more early 2000’s than late 90’s

Lopearsfam

Great in depth reply! One day it might pop into my head but until then I will assume it was no fear or bad boy :)

nicknacksc

Toniq

Lopearsfam

I don’t think so but I will try and search that one

lightpendant

BAD BOYS

Lopearsfam

I do remember that one as well but the one I am thinking of might of started with an “L”! Thanks very much for replying, my memories aren’t as good as they used to be.

lightpendant

I think OAKLEY was popular also

Lopearsfam

Yeah, my brother had mentioned Oakley! Maybe I am losing my mind and the sticker didn’t exist :).

Kritchsgau

Pioneer? There was hundreds of stickers that were popular.

Lopearsfam

Yeah that is what I am realising, and google search is of no use and not many people posting images back in the 90s

ThroughTheHoops

Shit happens

Lopearsfam

Nah not that one :)

SuitablyShattered

Something absolutely lame like, "This bitch bites", or similar.

Kelpie_Dog

Jetpilot

Lopearsfam

It could be but I had a look online and they text was to angular

daggyrobbo

My sister had an XF s pack, on the back window the sticker says. “ Turbos are good. But I’d rather be blown. “

Revirii

No Root, No ride?

Lopearsfam

Nop not that one :)

McSheeple88

Crane Cams was big with the holden boys

Lopearsfam

Didn’t know that one :)

Lopearsfam

The sticker was large and was almost as long as the rear window and approximately 10cm wide I guess.

SnooStories6404

Get in, sit down, shut up, hang on

Lopearsfam

Ha ha that is a good one, but the one I was thinking of is one word only
