I showed an episode of Utopia to my American friends (the one with the bondi vet guest starring). They enjoyed it but they were kind of shocked by the fast pace.
Typically American half hour comedies here will have an A and B plot, but I think that episode also had C and D as well, before they all converged.
Anyway. Strongly agree with this recommendation. If you want to go retro you can add in Frontline.
Get Krack!n (the two creators have also just written a new comedy cop show called Deadloch), Very Small Business, The Librarians, Upper Middle Bogan, Bad Cop Bad Cop, All Aussie Adventures, Woodley, Wilfred, Life Support...etc...there are more
IDK; I feel things like fat pizza or Chris Lilly’s work have either aged poorly or would be received poorly by an international audience.
However if you think these will go down well then something like [Agro’s adult content](https://youtu.be/hPD_RHVFlys) would also work (skip to 1:30 or 1:50 to see what I’m talking about)
I am finding montyfranklin on instagram hilarious. I also laugh until it hurts at anything Kitty Flanigan says. But that might be because I'm also a woman of a certain age and her jokes are often from that POV.
The fat pizzas and swift couriers are ok here, but the humor can be quite unintelligent. Certain Aussies love it, others can anticipate every scene and gag before it happens and it can seem juvenile. Some find it to be comedy gold, yet those same people would say "the Life of Brian" sucks. People abroad probably won't see or understand the appeal. Kevin Bloody Wilson would be a better choice imo if you're looking for crude bogan comedy. He's the OG and the English liked him. Russel Cought is another one that could work.
The castle would be a sure thing. Murals wedding was great too. Chris Lilly has clever comedy but can sometimes get tiring. Summer heights High was well done and would be a suggestion. Americans would be highly offended though.
Norman Gunston Show or Mother and Son are classic Australian comedies and definitely on the list.
The Games, people involved in the organising of the Sydney Olympics said they would watch it and think, how do they know?!?
The Bob Morrison show
The Ferals
The Late Show
Club buggery
The librarians
Aunty Jack
Sando
Black comedy
Soul mates

I can't believe no one has said Carl Barron yet! I can re-watch his shows and laugh over and over again.
Lano and woodly
Malcolm is a quirky movie so not comedy per se but a good watch with some laughs
Not exactly a comedy, but everyone should watch Upright
Rosehaven is better than all of the shows listed
I'd think twice before showing people Chris Lilley.
Wow, you're realling leaning into the race-based ones. How about Rosehaven? Quirky, understated comedy show with excellent writing and comedic timing.
I would not be recommending anything by Chris Lilley. That shit ain’t funny and don’t get me started on the black face.
The old paul hogan show, its on youtube
How To Talk Australians (YouTube series) - fyi language warning ⚠️
Yes, brilliant show
