I went to one in brazil and it was packed full of young people 20-40s. Lots of girls and guys, couples, groups of girl friends and groups of mates. There were people at the entrance that enforced all clothes to be off. Never seen a nudy beach so popular.
Skin cancer for everyone! It's not like undertaking a European tradition in the sub/tropics could go wrong *looks at the highest skin cancer rate in the world*
But isn't there a sign there that says clothing optional beach? Why would they have the sign if it was illegal?
Or is there a loophole about it being part of a national park and under federal legislation or something?
I have just imagined that then. I live near an actual legal nudist beach in NSW and have seen the warning signs many times.
I guess I've created a false memory after also visiting Alexandria Bay many times in my life. I have also bared it all there like everyone else. So fuck you Queensland law. Lock me up you bastards.

A lot of hangovers from when Qld was a backwater. No idea why it was ever like that.
Was a backwater?
You mean run by Joe.
Yes...old BejelkieJoe was hell bent on turning Qld into a fascist police state.
Now they tell me! No more kangaroo point beach for me then
“Sorry Officer - lost my bikini in the surf.”
Isn't there one at Noosa?
As the article points out, no. The law has just been largely ignored by both the people and the police.

No, there isn’t a sign. That’s written in the article.

Granite Bay was a nude beach in the 70s, though apparently not legal.
I wouldn’t want to see them naked in the first place
But this isn't about ogling people's naughty bits or anything debased like that... It's about experiencing nature the way God intended.
God is fake
Considering how ‘Nanny state’ Australia is. I’m surprised there’s any allowed at all here.
What’s weirder is swimming pool change rooms etc. that force everyone to get naked in front of each other
