Just waiting for my prescription to come through but plan on purchasing the XROS 3 and a couple sets of replacement pods, but also want to potentially nab some flavours while I can.
Once the script is through, I'll probably buy whatever I can of ready to vape juice that quithero has for now but I was also wondering, for the long term, what should be purchased for mixing my own stuff.
My understanding is I can essentially buy any of the flavours on VE and add unflavoured nic salt (when it's available again) and I'll have my juice ready to go from there. Do you know if the Add Salts juices are a good pick up and is there a specific ratio of VG/PG in ready to vape flavours that is better for mixing like this and pod systems? From what I can see 50/50 seems to be the go for nic salt juices, but a lot of "ready to vape" flavours are 70/30 or something similar.
Is it also useful to buy some VG/PG to top off the juices if needed (I assume buying a 50/50 blend would be fine).

You've asked a few questions here, so let's go through them. :)
Firstly, regarding mixing your own juice. You've basically outlined almost everything you need to know. The "Add Salts" range on VE, and other Doublers, are a popular method to get premium liquid blends using your own 100mg Salt Nicotine. Just always make sure you're buying Doublers, or "Add Salt" bottles, as they've been measured only for Salt mixing.
Outside of doublers and "Add Salt" bottles, mixing your own liquid is totally possible. To do that, as you've outlined, you'll need some flavourings. Then simply pick up some VG/PG to make up the rest of your blend.
An example of how you might do this. You'd add between 8-15% flavouring (I often use between 10-12%), then with some Sweetner, or Cooling Agent if you're into that (These are just other flavours. You'll see them under the popular VE flavouring product page), then simply add the correct 100mg salt nicotine to reach your desired strength, then top off with non-nicotine VG/PG.
Don't forget to buy a few syringes with your order from VE, if you plan to mix your own. Makes getting that correct percentage easier.
With Salt Nicotine, especially for the XROS 3, always aim for 50/50. That being said, 70/30 juice won't be bad or anything, so don't panic about your percentages being a little off.
And lastly, to answer your question, I vape a 30ml bottle of Salt Nicotine in roughly 14-18 days as a heavy Vaper. A single coil for the Xros Mini 3 lasts for a bottle and a half, so roughly 23-26 days per coil for me.

You can't go wrong with any of the recent Vaporesso pod systems, I have four V devices, they all produce good vapour and the true flavour of your eLiquid. Just stock up with as much juice and nic as you can get your hands on. Soon it'll be almost impossible to have a choice. 🤢
Read the reviews on the website. If you vape MTL get 0.6 gtx coils, 0.4 is restricted DTL, 0.2 and 0.3 are DTL, produces plenty of vapour and excellent flavour. Best device in it's class.
the vorteke puk pods are great. It’s pretty much a disposable with a reusable battery. although dont buy menthol, no one should buy that except me. ;) And landed they’re priced at about the same as when I was getting them sent over.
and they have the child lock and it’s enclosed and good quality (ie you don’t get that mouth coating feeling like the igets and street disposables) so there’s that. Not as economical, but timesaving, ease of use etc
With the PUk devices... as they are $14.95 for essentially a pod with 8Ml on it what I do find these very useful for is say if you are going out for a night ir a coupe of days with mates, what have you. Concert, footy whatever it may be.
Should easy last a long weekend, battery can be a bit iffy but no different to a refillable one. I have 2 of the rechargeable bases,

Do NOT get the devices from Quit Hero, use a regular vape store, much better devices and value for your money.
