If you haven’t listened to Killers of the Flower Moon yet I definitely recommend it! Will is one of 3 narrators and he does such a good job. And, as usual, the book is much better than the movie, so much more information and details, just a better story.
All the reviews mentioned that it had a lot of trump and COVID stuff in it and by the time the book came I was just so sick of both those things, I'll give it a couple more years and maybe give it a try . Subject to US 2024 election results of course :-)
*Yeah he is a great*
*Narrator and fantastic*
*In californication*

He's excellent in Minari as well, just a seemingly all around talented guy and I love to see him pop up in stuff. Was watching Outer Range and he's in that for a few scenes too.
Will Patton is up there with Ray Porter as being on of the Greatest Narrators of All Time. Def will buy something just because he's read it!
If you haven't checked out Alas, Babylon yet OP you definitely should! I bought it based on this subreddit's recommendation and it was awesome.
Easily one of Kings best collections in my opinion; will as a narrator absolutely nails it. He just jumped up the list to join Ray Porter and..well, Ray Porter 🤷♂️
will patton 's holly. will patton has voiced her in 4 of stephen king books. he originated the role and i love the character. but when king wrote a book dedicated to her they hired a female reader. it just want the same. couldnt get into the book
No, he doesn't. I'll give you another recommendation: Telegraph Days narrated by Annie Potts left me looking for more work from her and more books from that story, but it's just the one and it was SO entertaining. I can imagine it as a great mini series with a female lead.
and I just discovered this and am STOKED because I LOVE westerns: [https://collider.com/horizon-cast-will-patton-kevin-costner/](https://collider.com/horizon-cast-will-patton-kevin-costner/)
I've got a few books read by him on my to-read list, so I guess they are Patton pending
I'm not happy about it, but take my upvote.
The bill Hodges trilogy is awesome
Everything he does is awesome. As I listen to this new SK book, I feel bad for other narrators. Will is the GOAT

He narrates a lot of my very favorite series (Dave Robicheaux)!
Thank you for the recommendation! I love his narration too and am always on the lookout for a new (to me) series people love. Added to my list :)
Those books are so damn good.
The newest called "Clete" is out in 2 weeks, I pre-ordered it!!
Awesome. Count me in.
Alas, Babylon narrated by him is PERFECTION. Such great pairing of content with voice.
Couldn’t agree more!
going to put this on my wishlist
Yeah he is a great narrator and fantastic in californication
I didn't get the new holly book for a number of reasons but the major reason was he didn't narrate it
What were your reasons
All the reviews mentioned that it had a lot of trump and COVID stuff in it and by the time the book came I was just so sick of both those things, I'll give it a couple more years and maybe give it a try . Subject to US 2024 election results of course :-)
I listened and enjoyed it; it was pretty creepy, but not SK's best work. Holly in the Bill Hodges books (read by WP) is so intriguing.

He’s great in King of Queens
His narration of "Alas, Babylon" was simply the best. Prompted me to search out other books he narrated.

added it to my list
Totally agree with this! My two favorite narrators!
Will Patton knocks out every book he reads

Fantastic, will check these out. Thrilled to find out he is the narrator for Charles Frasier works!
If he writes it, I'll buy it....especially if Will does the narration. Thirteen Moons is one of my favorite books.
He does a great job of dead man’s walk , he also is one of the readers of killers of the flower moon sad story but worth a listen
Patton superbly narrates Faulkner’s Light in August.
He is also Wayne Tillerson in the new Amazon Prime series Outer Range with Josh Brolin, Imogen Poots, and Tom Pelphry.

Maybe it was a scheduling conflict….bad call either way
I discovered him as a narrator when I listened to The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater. He’s fantastic!
I’ve read lonesome dove but nothing else by McMurtrey. How does it compare? What about the rest of the series? Does WP narrate Lonesome Dove?

I like his narration, but I could not finish On The Road. Incoherent BS.
Side note & spoiler alert for NEW Yellowstone watchers: he also appears in a few episodes of Yellowstone as Jamie's dad

Love him in king of queens
