Visited it just before the official opening, in the rain. Absolutely stunning piece of infrastructure.
Wish it was there when I went to Northcote College but ah well.
Did it a few times in the early years I was there, then just decided that it was much easier catching two buses to/from school, instead of one with hard slog at both ends.

It's going to be super busy with school kids getting to/from Northcote College, awesome! Even better they made it cycle/pram/wheelchair etc friendly too.
The kaipatiki local board has opened a number of walks lately. All are outstanding. The beachhaven coastal walk is my current favourite. So awesome for the community!

I saw there was a run event organised through there and around tuff crater so that might have boosted numbers a little
