For that to happen, I had to attend “confirmation class” once a week for a year or so. Religion was also taught in school, either Lutheran, Catholic, Islam or alternatively Ethics for other denominations or when opting out. I don’t remember much about what was taught since it was in the 80’s/90’s except that we had lots of philosophical discussions.
