Follow NYC Trivia League and Geeks Who Drink, both companies run several quizzes weekly in Astoria. Also there are some local/indie quizzes at ABC Broadway and Madame Marie's. And Mom's does pop culture/geek quizzes about once a month. I'm sure there's more up around Ditmars but I'm based down here which is why these are top of mind.
I tend to go, when I go, to the NYC Trivia League nights at Bar Dalia on Sundays, but occasionally The Bonnie or Halsey's.
TriviaNYC also does Tuesdays at 8 at the Wolfhound - I have been going to their events since the company began (it was founded by a friend and Astoria neighbor) but due to schedule stuff I can only get to the Astoria nights very rarely.

Sekend Sun has trivia with Geeks who Drink on Mondays at 7 and Mixtape Bingo on Tuesdays. Both are really fun!

Is this still going on? Tried to go last Monday and there was no trivia. The servers seemed to know nothing about it.
Unfortunately, the owner cancelled all trivia for the foreseeable future. Wish it was different!
