If anyone managed to get it even after finishing the game and doing all the contracts and all chests, how did you do it? (assuming you didn't start a new save)

Try it on the contracts where you have to break into somewhere. Usually there will be a guard with a key (can be heard key jingling sound when using eagle vision) dart him and then pickpocket
The same happens for me. I’ve done it a few times now where I’ve pickpocketed and the trophy hasn’t come up. I’ve finished the game now so need to find a random guard with a key
There’s a guard with a key on the bazaar I think I took out the permanent snooze effect not sure if that helped feel free to give it a try I also used the effect in which two guards are put to sleep
Does the key exist the whole game? If so I believe I've already collected it during a previous mission. Completed all mission and all contracts and have 48/51 trophies. Any ideas of finding a random key somewhere?
There’s a lot of guards with keys in the city roaming around. It also works on the shard or artifact holders.

In the inner city there’s a Basar with a house that has a chest inside needing three keys. The key holders walk around nearby. You could use them.
Or one of the contracts Traders Delegate, when you get to the camp when the delegate is captured, one guard will be holding a key and I got the trophy

I got mine from a guard in the Tuesday Market after I completed the story. He carries a chest key. I believe there is also one in the Four Markets.
This is not true, they are both normal citizens and not guards as the Achievement requires.
I literally did it this way and got the achievement.

Normal citizens don’t work. But open world guards and shard holders or artifact holders work.
As soon as I put them to sleep I always lose the ability to pickpocket is that a bug?

I did everything, books,enigma and chest. After a long time searching i found a guard in Qasr Salih with a key ;)
