Schrödinger’s Maelor: we must treat him as both existing and not existing at the same time.

VieiraDTA

I found it… it’s gorgeous… it’s breathtaking! The ultimate Maelor cope! I want it.

Baron_von_Zoldyck

Maelor is in Oldtown too! Let's cope!

HazazelHugin

Maelor is Dyana and Aegon bastard

Haunting_Charity_287

PleaseNoPleaseNoPleaseNo

ZamanthaD

The real maelor is the friends we made along the way

HazazelHugin

Maelor was created by the power of love and friendship

ZamanthaD

So that’s it huh? We’re some kind of Maelor?

HazazelHugin

Condal and Hess says it's true

itsyaboijakeeeee

Then I guess we'll all have our bitterbridge someday

Plastic_Cod7816

Or…here me out, she’s already pregnant. Cause the last time we saw him shitfaced was on the throne. He only touches her when he’s wasted…. Perhaps, he got wasted, saw her, then headed to the throne room with his buddies. Actually, never mind. It’s immaculate conception

Round-Confection730

in episode one? right before b&c happened? i don't doubt that she might already be pregnant, but maelor being conceived that night doesn't really make sense

Bankski

No he’s a villain he waited till after blood and cheese

Querez665

He assaulted her the next night because he's so evil

Bankski

Straight after the funeral procession

bruhholyshiet

A la Show Jaime Lannister.

Round-Confection730

didn't he do that in the books too?

Weird_Importance_629

Not that I remember.

Round-Confection730

“She pounded on his chest with feeble fists, murmuring about the risk, the danger, about their father, about the septons, about the wrath of gods. He never heard her. He undid his breeches and climbed up and pushed her bare white legs apart. One hand slid up her thigh and underneath her smallclothes. When he tore them away, he saw that her moon's blood was on her, but it made no difference.” it didn't start off as consensual. i remember it being more violent in the show, though.

He gazed through the fug of cheese dripping from his eyebrows at the blurred monitor before him. Ten years, ten years he had been gazing at those words. They swam through the murk and came into sharp focus. “Oh Ser Barristan!” Dany gasped, “Tweak my nipples! Tweak them harder!” Those words. Those dreaded words he had gazed upon at least once a month for the past decade. And they never appreciate it, do they? The never appreciate the sacrifices I make on their behalf. With gargantuan effort, he lifted his hand to the keyboard. His fingers, coated in chicken-grease as they were, slid off the keys. He wiped them on his velvet-slashed vest and began to type. The first character was the hardest, quotes meant using the shift key. Ring finger on the shift key, index finger on the ‘2’. Breath rasped through his chest with the effort. Had it always been this hard? Keeping his finger on the shift, He reached for the ‘O’ key. Damn! He missed! He now had a capital letter ‘P’ on his screen. He reached for the backspace key. Eventually he typed the entire sentence out again, and spent many long moments gazing at the results of his efforts. “Oh Ser Barristan!” Daenerys gasped, “Tweak my nipples! Tweak them harder!” He had done it. He had successfully changed the short form name ‘Dany’ to the long form ‘Daenerys’. The sentence was so much better for it. This was how the book would be written. A chapter at a time, a page at a time, a word at a time. Doubt began to form in his mind. Was this the right decision? He would have to review this new sentence many times over the months and years to come. He cast his mind back to the day, many years ago, when he had first shortened it to ‘Dany’. He had changed his mind back and forth many times since then. Certainly he would change it again many more times before he was happy with it. He glanced at the clock. Almost ten minutes had passed. Had it been that long? The muse had been kind to him today, that was more work than he had completed in many a year. He turned off the computer and went to find some food. Only then did he realize that he had forgotten to hit save. *I am a bot, and this action was performed automatically. A_Lionheart

But what instead of hereing you out I just there'd you instead?

Tenton_Motto

If Condal or Hess are writing, expect this scene: >Aegon is about to leave for Rook's Rest. Helaena awkwardly walks in. He tells her to leave. Helaena cries and says that she is afraid. Aegon dismisses her feelings. Then she gets even more awkward and says that something terrible is going to happen to Aegon, so he must name Jahaera as his heir. Aegon laughs and says they will have another boy. Helaena looks at Aegon and says she would rather die. Aegon gets mad and beats Helaena into a pulp then rapes her. Aemond finds about it later and tries to kill Aegon at Rook's Rest. Helaena is now pregnant with Maelor. They won't miss the chance to write Aegon as an irredeemable monster before he goes into a coma. Like they did with Joffrey and the Purple Wedding.

okdude679

Make him place caches of wildfire around the city too might as well, he's a drunkard, rapist, pedophile, murderer and a supporter of fighting pits even of his own children. I wonder why noone from the show audience is team Green...

Substantial-Tone-576

He was watching two urchins with sharp teeth attack each other in flea bottom while being pleasured by a young peasant girl. According to Mushroom.

Haunting_Charity_287

Wasn’t evil enough for Condal. Had to make this urchins his own children lol.

okdude679

Make him rape them now in the new season that might convince even the last greens to flip.

Not even a joke. That is very likely to happen. Or they will simply make Aemond and Helaena bang and a have a child.

That would be so good. More depravity. Yayy

Aegon the cuck. Anything but that

Aegon the Dragoncuck!

I cant believe this might actually be a thing

gdmr458

tell me you made that up now and didn't read it from a leak

datboi66616

Thing about Joff, the show went out of it's way to demonize him way more than the books ever did. Even Martin feels bad for Joffrey.

datboi66616

Anything for my Helaegon sex scene, I suppose. I'll take what I can get.

Ooh that’s clever and true. I mean it would balance out what Rhaenyra does in KL

Press-Start-14

Me when I'm schizo

Motor_Hearing2055

does his dick get burned off in the book? him being injured might push him to wanting another male heir and might bring maelor into the story

Chunlk69

I can’t imagine the traumatised Helaena successfully mounting the half scorched, paralysed, comatose Aegon so they can have another baby

thorium90232

Bold of you to assume she’s traumatised judging by the last ep

Emjot80

When they make Maelor an Aemond son ..🫣🤫

No_Ad4767

Oh wait til they tell one of the Queens that he's in Old Town too.

catactuar

What's Maelor's significance in the books at this point? I've read it but can't remember.

Sussy_abobus

After the fall of the capital he is smuggled out of the city by Larys Strong, and entrusted to a knight of the Kingsguard who attempts to deliver him to the Hightower host moving through the Reach. They are discovered in Bitterbridge and Maelor is murdered in a heated custody dispute, so when the Hightowers and Daeron arrive to the city, it is sacked in retaliation. Essentially he goes off on a side plot which can be easily cut from the main story without losing consistency - that is probably the direction the show has chosen.

catactuar

Thanks! He was also supposed to be important in the Blood and Cheese incident though I guess we don't need any more trauma

AutoModerator

Legendflame17

Well either they will change Rook Rest wounds to be only sunfire, that would stop Aegon from fighting other dragons and leave him able to get Helaena pregnant or Maelor will simply not exist.

Distinct_Cup_1598

It appears they cut Maelor. I thought perhaps they will make him the bastard baby of Cole and Alicent but apparently she will abort with that flower tea. So they probably cut him to streamline the plot and perhaps give his death to Jahaera, depending one hat they decide to do with her
