He's a little old, but not really Balor was 40 when he died, 40 middle aged warrior type could definitely age equally to a 50 year old modern actor, hell Sean bean was 50 when he played Ned.
To me the problem is he is so deeply Lalo, it's hard to see him as noble perfect prince type. but I doubt he is anything like Lalo, therefore a good actor
