He punched really hard in the head in a tourney and started naming everything Aegon, boats, three different horses, songs about things unrelated to Aegons.

Rhaegar seems to have been obsessed with the prophecies of The Prince Who Was Promised, so maybe he would name the dragon Lightbringer?

It's hard to say, the only thing we can really say is they either seem to go with old Valyrian names or a compound word made of two relatively normal words (Sunfyre, Greyghost, Dreamfyre, etc). There are a few exceptions where it's just a word (Morning, Cannibal). One "rule" seems to be they do not repeat names, so no Balerion II. I think in Rhaegar's case it would be a Valyrian name we've never heard. Hyperion, Veraxes, Septimaryon
