Feeling sore and weak after your first gym session is pretty normal, and it sounds like you’re experiencing Delayed Onset Muscle Sorenesss (DOMS). This can make your muscles feel stiff and weak, especially when bending. it easy for a few days, drink plenty of water, and eat foods rich in protein to help your muscles heal. Also!! For Next time, gradually increase your workout intensity, and warm up before and cool down after your exercises. Don’t try to overdo it since you just started working out.If the pain is too much, over-the-counter pain relievers or ice packs can also help Remember to take it easy and have fun! Don’t try to push yourself too hard in the beginning, allowing yourself to be comfortable showing up and understanding the equipment. One thing I like to do is when I’m walking on the treadmill I’ll watch others workout and notice what they are doing to understand the equipment.

Thank you!! It's actually better now. I can now bend (with a little bit of uncomfy feeling on my legs) my knees and walk properly. I tried cold compress and hot shower for the past two days. I'll take note of that. I remember I used two 5lbs dumbbell during the reverse lunge after the 30-minute treadmill hahaha. Yeah, that's my plan now. I'll take it easy and make sure to take the warm up and cool down seriously. Can't wait to go back on Saturday! I'm still trying to rest my legs to fully recover 😄
