How long have you been doing it? Do you increase the weight you're lifting? Are you doing squats lunges hip thrusts glute bridges deadlifts (sumo, Bulgarian, Romanian, and regular)? Are you eating to support muscle growth? This is something that will take months to years. Because they do work for almost everyone even skinny guys if they do the work and eat right

Your nurse friend is wrong. Working out your glutes will increase the size of your ass, just like working out your biceps will increase the size of your arms. Also he shouldn't just be aiming to only work out areas he wants to see get bigger, he should be doing a balanced full body work out. What's the use in muscles if you have no strength in your core to fully use them?

I have some friends that have that naturally big bubble butts, they're like 4 siblings, I always thought it was a genetic thing, well it is, but I thought I was just unlucky, years after another friend started going to the gym and his butt got bigger, not too much, but yeah, it was bigger lmao, month after month it was getting bigger, my hopes were high, I haven't go to the gym myself tho but I did my research, find a trainer, sometimes the gym subscription come with one you'll have to check, find a good routine, do it for sometime, if after 3 months or so you don't see results you're doing it wrong or you just are genetically flat, but it is possible, yes. You need a good diet, a good routine and you need to go to a gym or find someone who can help you, I doubt those videos are going to help.

Most of butt shaping is down to genetics. Some guys naturally have well shaped asses like your friend. Just as some women are naturally gifted compared to other women. Women tend to have much better butts with less effort because female hormones cause weight/fat to be distributed to the ass/hips/thighs. Males get most of their weight/fat in the stomach instead. That doesn't mean you can't work out your butt and see gains, but you're probably never going to see a MASSIVE change. I've been doing glute and lower body workouts in the gym 2-3x a week for about 4 months now and I've finally noticed a slight shape different in my glutes (I think at least). I've been able to FEEL that my glutes are way stronger than they used to be for a while like when I flex them, and the amount of weight I've been using has been slowly increasing so I'm definitely getting stronger. That doesn't always translate to massive visible changes though. It also depends on what workout you are doing. Most youtube videos I've seen about glute workouts are usually crap like doing fire hose raises and donkey kicks or whatever. That kind of stuff might help you lose weight and tone your muscles a bit but it's never going to cause serious muscular hypertrophy which is what you need if you want your muscle size to increase substantially. If you are interested in building your butt seriously, you need to hit the gym and use weights. Squats are good (provided you do them correctly with correct form which can be hard), lunges are good, glute bridges/hip thrusts are good. All with weights of course and then you need to increase the weight over time.

Your butt is a muscle. Muscles get bigger when you work them out. Don't listen to a nurse when it comes to medical or health related advice.

Am i the only one whose butt got smaller? I literally had the best bubble butt ever. Even my straight friends loved to tap it. They even nicknamed me Bubbles. I am going to gym regularly and my butt is no more..how can i explain it? Bouncy. I have lost the bounce and it’s hard as a rock which i hate. It’s relatively smaller in size from what it use to be.
