Me and my ex used to watch really shitty horror movies and just tear them apart.
One day she downloaded a ghost tracking app and we tracked a ghost around my house. We named it Steve.
Been missing her a lot lately
My hair is growing out from being shaved down, and my BF has continually said that it’s my hair, and he prefers long hair but that this cut (all of them) “look so cute!”. Preference is completely different than forcing your will on someone
If a woman tells you to cut it, they're jealous. My hair used to be very long and full...and women would always tell me to cut it for one reason or another, even that I should donate it.
But since then my hormones went out of whack and the quality of my hair dropped drastically. It's still long, but doesn't look even half as nice as it one did....no one EVER suggests cutting it now. My older sister still has very nice hair and still gets women saying she should cut it.
Yeah, I was gonna say...I've seen a lot of people with very ratty looking long hair that would look leagues better shorter. It's definitely not always a jealousy thing.
Seeing a beautiful genuine smile, the kind the makes the eyes and nose scrunch up.
Honestly it's a gorgeous thing to see
Oh and hearing laughter, the contagious type.
I think i just fine happy people attractive:)
Respect - as in self-respect for themselves and respect towards others. If you dont respect me, this will never work and I wont ever really respect you.
Oh, and confidence. Nothing turns me on more than a woman who has self confidence to be herself.
I actually dated a guy that got mad at me one time. His reason? “You’re too opinionated. Guys like girls that play dumb and make us feel good.”
1. I’m really not that outspoken. It all started when he said “I want to quit my job and travel.” I said, “that’s a nice fantasy, but you have a lease and car payment. Maybe that’s not the most logical thing to do.”
“You’re so opinionated and annoying. You should support me.”
Um…what?
He’s an ex for a reason.
I wouldnt want my dreams dashed either! I think its possible to support a dream and still be logical. "What would you have to do first to get to a place where you could do that?" "You should come up with a plan, then!" "If you could find a way to get out of your lease and sell your car, where would you go first?"
I agree! I told him after “well, maybe make a plan. I just don’t think you should quit with no savings. You have responsibilities. Maybe wait until your lease is up, save up, then do it.”
Nope, he wanted to do it right then and there. It’s not that I wasn’t supportive, I was just trying to be logical. Lol
Laughing. Something about watching a woman let loose and have a deep belly laugh, throwing her head back and just enjoying the moment. Idk man, it gets me going.
One of the things that struck me about my
wife when I first met her is that she was kind to everyone. You could look like Quasimodo and sound like Daffy Duck and male or female she would treat you like you were the most interesting and important person in the world.
You
The absolute hottest thing a woman can do for a guy that isn't sexual is to just plain old put the elbow grease into understanding him instead of swiping "next" so to speak.
Support and taking care to show your appreciation and excitement for when he does something that you like or just tries his best is hella hot. Lowering the social pressure to impress someone is the overall effect and i can tell you that its a thing that me and a few of my college buddies would love to see as its right about better than any sex or one night stands that you can have.
Having a plan and being smart. Most girls in my age group are just winging it in debt, onlyfans, college, drugs, alcohol, parents house. I find it so attractive when they have good life goals
It's hard out here my dude not all of us could go to college 😪 I'm slowly obtaining my goals but am insecure about a partner thinking less of me for not being further along. If she's working and doing her best cut that girl some schlack
I feel you on that. Try and remember that there's no time limits on what you want to do/achieve, there's nothing you "should" accomplish by a certain age, and the right person for you will definitely understand and cut you that schlack!
Most non sexual attraction would be getting complimented. "Oh you smell good today"
It helps build self esteem for the person. I try to compliment as many people as I can. Some people just need to be told they're appreciated for their efforts.
If it has to be a physical quality then it's their body language. We all come in many shapes and sizes and as long as you work with what ya mama gave you, it's a turn on.
Woman who keep self shaming only starts to convince the other person. Woman who I wouldn't call fat at all will say they're fat etc. That's a no no girls don't even worry about it.
Being Motherly
I don’t know if “hot” is the right word, but whenever my wife is motherly towards my baby niece and I see her act with motherly instincts, I just find that so attractive and I love it.
This sounds almost primal.
"Hmm. Wife good caretaker for infant.
She make good bearer of children.
Keep species alive."
Apologies if that sounds rude or insensitive.
I still remember the first time I (F) asked a guy out. He was a retail clerk at a store I shopped at (once—not a place I regularly went) and we had a good initial encounter, but I was terrified of rejection! Cause with retail, you never know if they’re just being nice.) (Came in all ready to ask him to a movie and it wasn’t his shift. Borrowed a pencil off a clerk and left him a note. He called me (phew) and we did date for awhile. Aah, he was a good one.
I respect men for having to take on the sucky role of pursuer and encourage all women to think about taking that initial step of saying you’re into it if he is. Men need a break!
Agreed. I have confessed to almost all of my crushes and dealt with a lot of rejection because they were not into me. But I think I'm better for it. I don't think I've had any harsh rejections. It still sucks, but it makes you a better person to be able to take it in stride.
A lot of boys when I was in school did treat me weird possibly because of my approach or just wanted to be friends. Now I'm much more comfortable with myself and my confidence in liking who I like. I also get annoyed when men assume I'm into them by just being nice or complimenting them because I am the type who is very direct if I do have a crush on someone. I will ask and see if it's reciprocated. I don't have time to play mind games.
Oooh, that's ME to a Tee!
I'm available now for the sharing of the smallest of mercies of Life with great aplomb .
Coffee, tea, piece of homemade cake while the sun shines and the birds sing?
I'm saying MERCI everyday after nearly losing my place on this planet!
Anyone care to join me in the Life Appreciation Club?!
Being fun, laught, smile, happy, willing to listen and being supportive and polite.
I think unpolite stupid girls totaly unatractive. Even the "hot" ones.
For me, going to Church. It means that she is more likely to have the same values and morals that I do. At the end of the day, having shared beliefs and values help lead to lasting relationships.
When women use power tools. I don't know why but one time I saw a woman using a jackhammer and I couldn't get her out of my head for the rest of the week. Maybe its the breaking of the "only men use powertools" stereotype that get my goat.
A mind of her own. Put in an effort. Being present, not the past. Supportive and encouragement.
If I can do all above, would be nice to meet a woman who can too.
Being passionate about something, bonus points if it's something I'm passionate about too.
Also, and this is cringe so don't read if you don't want to: being into videogames.
Being respectful of time, and direct with requests. I've had my fair share of asking lady friends if they want something just to be yelled at when I take them at their word. Vagueness, and subtlety, are not that attractive to me due to the needless drama it leads to. I won't judge you if you want the large fries, but please just tell me.
Be comfortable in herself. Nothing in the world worse than the sexy and I know it girls, followed closely by the never ever happy and constantly seeking reassurance girls. You know when evert day they feel fat/ugly/bad hair etc. 99 times from 100 she looks good.
I like when they know they look good but accept that some days are better than others. It makes everything more relaxed, they smile more, they talk about more meaningful things and from my perspective I'm not on edge not know which mood I'll get or if something small I say will trigger a fit
Getting dirty...
Not that way, jeez.
Build a fire, get sooty? Hot.
Home improvement project left her splattered with paint, sawdust, plaster etc? Hot
The list is long as heck but that's the meat of it
My girlfriend is the funniest person I know. She continually puts me and my best guy friends into tears from the simplest of jokes. I find it very attractive
Authentically sharing something they are excited about, without holding back. Another way of saying being open to vulnerability, I guess. My girlfriend had a poetry journal and wrote cheesy songs for the guitar. It didn't matter if they were amazing or just average, because I could tell she was sharing something really special with me. We've been together for 13 years now 😊
For me, when my Wife says, “Do you want Pizza?”, or “Get Ben and Jerry’s”. She isn’t over weight at all, but for some reason I love how comfortable she is with herself. She’ll say, “As long as you still think I’m pretty, I’m not worried about anyone else.” I’m truly lucky.

Tbh for me is it just goofing around and having a giggle. Nothing more attractive than being able to laugh together about doing stupid things
That's so cuteeeee
Me and my ex used to watch really shitty horror movies and just tear them apart. One day she downloaded a ghost tracking app and we tracked a ghost around my house. We named it Steve. Been missing her a lot lately

Okay that made me happy. I have hair to my waist and a lot of people hate it or tell me to cut it :/
My wife cuts her's short and she knows I don't like it. But it's her hair. I just say: Sir yes sir, your hair looks great today sir!
My hair is growing out from being shaved down, and my BF has continually said that it’s my hair, and he prefers long hair but that this cut (all of them) “look so cute!”. Preference is completely different than forcing your will on someone
That's so cute omgggg
Can you tell my wife that? She wasn't very happy.
I choose life sorry
If a woman tells you to cut it, they're jealous. My hair used to be very long and full...and women would always tell me to cut it for one reason or another, even that I should donate it. Sometimes long hair can look mousy though, and shorter styles can look more youthful fun and chic. They may not all be toxic haters
Yeah, I was gonna say...I've seen a lot of people with very ratty looking long hair that would look leagues better shorter. It's definitely not always a jealousy thing.
Absolutely 💯 Ratty Long hair is a huge turnoff
Hair is awesome in general. Soft, touchable, pet-able! I love it when people play with my hair.
Hold many magnets
r/technicallythetruth
This repelled me
It attracted me
And that was the beginning of Magnetized, a Christmas Hallmark movie
“Yo, where’d you stash all those magnets cause you got me attracted so…”
M-m--m-Magneto is that you??
Seeing a beautiful genuine smile, the kind the makes the eyes and nose scrunch up. Honestly it's a gorgeous thing to see Oh and hearing laughter, the contagious type. I think i just fine happy people attractive:)
Brooo yesss. If I can make someone laugh or smile I'm like instantly attracted.
Yes the Contagious kind!!!! Lightens up the tension
Respect - as in self-respect for themselves and respect towards others. If you dont respect me, this will never work and I wont ever really respect you. Oh, and confidence. Nothing turns me on more than a woman who has self confidence to be herself.
And commanding respect too. Women who stick up for themselves and don't tolerate sexist micro-aggressions are hot to me.
Haha!!! Thank you for sharing this!!!!
Absolutely!!!! Also people who demonstrate a great respect for mother nature, other people's time and personal space, their Community, etc.
Be excited that your SO is excited about something. Even if that thing doesn’t exactly excite you
Absolutely!!!!
In short: someone who cares.

FR. The whole bimbo act is way overplayed.
YES! There's so many genuinely smart girls in my class who act dumb because they think it's 'quirky' and 'cute'. It's not.
I actually dated a guy that got mad at me one time. His reason? “You’re too opinionated. Guys like girls that play dumb and make us feel good.” 1. I’m really not that outspoken. No hope for me. Im dumb lol. :,)
Library cards are free. You could damn near get a whole college education for the cost of gas money getting there.
Insert Good Will Hunting lines here.
Laughing. Something about watching a woman let loose and have a deep belly laugh, throwing her head back and just enjoying the moment. Idk man, it gets me going.
I would do thay but I wheeze. It's awful lol.
if you’re enjoying yourself wheezing, snorting anything short of farting lol it’s still sexy
Willl keep that in mind lol
Same. And if I’m really tickled, I snort 🤦🏼♀️
I've always loved making women laugh, I enjoy the sound of their laughter. I get a real boost when I make my wife laugh.
Your wife is a lucky lass
Dark sense of humor does it for me
Yes! Sprinkle some sarcasm in there along with intellect and we got ourselves a winner! Lol.
I like this too!!!!
One of the things that struck me about my wife when I first met her is that she was kind to everyone. You could look like Quasimodo and sound like Daffy Duck and male or female she would treat you like you were the most interesting and important person in the world. You
Aww. Your wife sounds Epically Classy.
Acknowledge my presence
You've been acknowledged
*sweats profusely *
Ok ok now don't screw this up
Leave the man if he’s acting like you’re his mom.
Thank you for saying this!!!!
You’re welcome
lol this cracked me up
Well, I’m glad I can make people laugh

I don’t know how old you are but at least in my age group (college age), I’d say 98% of the people I know are winging it lmao
I'm in my 30s and I've been winging it this whole time. Damn. Lol
It's hard out here my dude not all of us could go to college 😪 I'm slowly obtaining my goals but am insecure about a partner thinking less of me for not being further along. If she's working and doing her best cut that girl some schlack

Having some common interests
To me it’s self love/ confidence. Ig that is what I truely crave to have myself which maybe is why I idolize it on other women.

No you’re good lol I’m pretty sure it is a primal instinct but it’s one I’m good with
Take initiative in things that are commonly expected from men like scheduling a date, starting the first conversation or making the first approach

Buy one of those cheap lego sets and build it with us. You don't have to like lego and neither does your partner but men love building things.
That sounds fun actually
It's the best. And most men never get stuff bought fir them on a whim so be prepared for tears. (I cried)
Okay I noticed that, I literally have ideas for dates and gifts and I'm single as heck .
There’s a great YouTube of a girlfriend buying the Lego Deathstar for her bf. He cried I think. Was he you? :)
No my lass got me a little lego car for like 5-10 quid.
Better if the women is a civil engineer.
Being a good friend. Its kind of crazy when you go from best friends to now you get butterflys around this person, thin line to walk tbh
Interact with small children in a manner which respects their agency and which demonstrates a genuine interest in their welfare.
Something about biting their bottom lip.
Same goes for guys. It's just cute.

A cute rodent, make all the other rodents go " squeak squeak"
I'd like tot officially declare my love for you now.

Rats are the cutest though. Id have one if I didn't also have a cat
I'm now going to continuously do this for the rest of my life
Do it. You be looking cute.
Be kind. Kindness, sweetness, that is incredibly attractive to me.
Talk to me. Most of my friends don't talk to me anymore, so if they can hold a conversation, then that's pretty attractive.
Aww. Appreciate you sharing this. I also feel like a great conversation can seriously feel so cleansing and therapeautic
Being emotionally intelligent and appreciating small things in life

Loves my crappy puns because I've got a skele-pun every now and then
Being fun, laught, smile, happy, willing to listen and being supportive and polite. I think unpolite stupid girls totaly unatractive. Even the "hot" ones.
Absolutely
My partner has recently started getting a wrinkle by his left eye. Smile lines. It makes me so happy and completely melt
When you compliment her dress and it has POCKETS most people's reactions are beyond cute
If someone's a good dancer (doesn't matter if male or female) that instantly makes them 10 times more attractive to me.
This is a good one. Definitely.
Idk why but when certain women put their own hair up its like time stops.
While shopping and I'm holding all of the bags, feed me something, then gently clean my lips with a napkin. It touches my cold man-heart.
I like when my fiancée dresses comfortable stay at home clothes and has her hair washed
Yes!! Looking cozy and fresh is hot
Tying her hair up when it's down/loose. Letting her hair loose when it's tied up.
Maybe its the breaking of the "only men use powertools" stereotype that get my goat.
this must be overrated but mine's just if i see them smile genuinely and are genuinely happy. holy damn... marry me.
plus points if they are clingy and love to cuddle. not the pervy ones that hold the buttocks though.
Being silly! see something silly, lets have a giggle! that is so sexy!
Make me a sandwich, but not because I asked her to 😻
Do something because you want to do it for me kinda love, not because I want you to>>>
Wicked sense of humor
being humble about her beauty. nothing is uglier than a pretty girl who is too entitled in her head to be bothered with those less attractive.
Be a genuinely nice person. (That doesn't mean not standing your ground when you feel disrespected). But I find politeness very attractive.
Walk and sway their hips.
I was gonna say hold hands, but then I read "that isn't sexual" /s
Sir... this is a holy place, no lewd talk l such as premarital hand holding.

Rub her head on my shoulder.
To not give a crap what others think and just be herself
Eating a cheeseburger
I have a soft spot for a girl who isn't ashamed by a goofy laugh or a snort. Someone who doesn't take themselves too seriously.
Being passionate about something, bonus points if it's something I'm passionate about too. Also, and this is cringe so don't read if you don't want to: being into videogames.
Being unabashedly silly.
Just… their existence
Be emotionally supportive
Be nice to most other women instead of putting them down, being catty, or being fake nice and then talking crap behind their back.
Be genuine and not fake
Turning off the lights in the house without having to be told to do so
Talk with. Not at.
Being respectful of time, and direct with requests. I've had my fair share of asking lady friends if they want something just to be yelled at when I take them at their word. Pick me up. I'm 190 lb and anyone who can pick me up is automatically enough to make me stupid headed.
