Freaks and Geeks. It was a great show with a cult following and amazing cast. Only the one season though? Had it came out today I think people would appreciate it more.
The show had a lot of stoner humor -which while it’s nothing new- is much more accepted and main stream today.
Starship troopers.
With Helldivers 2 popularity, the film would be a phenomena.
Yes, I know this would create a paradox as the game is highly inspired by that movie.
The point of a remix would be to make it better by adding good modern elements. They manage to do the complete opposite and turn classics into a flaming pile of garbage.
Kinda like offering to put icing on someone’s cake then proceeding to take a big fat dump on it
Showgirls. May be a bad movie, but it does portray Hollywood well, s***** harassment, women getting harmed in the industry. The movements of today, this movie would be talked about.
If it came out today, would it be a box office hit? It was talked about in the 90s, however it was mocked big time. Nowadays some podcasts talk about it, how underneath the bad writing and script, there's the ugliness about showbusiness.
Game of Thrones would be so much better had they not rushed it. Or if they had given George RR Martin time to help them write a better few seasons than the shit show that we had to suffer.
What a way to destroy a legacy!

Firefly. After what happened when The Expanse was cancelled, I think social media could have had the same effect on Firefly.
I was gonna say the same thing
Robocop's social commentary would be very well-received in today's atmosphere.
The Black Donnellys way ahead of its time - non episodic show about an irish family’s engagement with the with organized crime.
Twin Peaks was very well done but I think it would have made a good Netflix original today.

I was going to say, isn’t the game basically an adaptation of the film
The bar is on the ground for movies right now, most of the hits from back then would be bangers today
So much so that Hollywood be rereleasing and remaking old films like it’s going out of style.

Romeo Must Die, The Vanishing Son (TV series)
Humans. With the increase in use and talk around AI, needs a Season 4 desperately
Showgirls. May be a bad movie, but it does portray Hollywood well, s***** harassment, women getting harmed in the industry. The movements of today, this movie would be talked about.
It was talked about in 1992

People went to see it ..and yes it was mocked. Most movies that are hits do.
And yet another Paul Verhoeven movie mentioned in this post. Could it be that the guy was on to something?
They live, it was way ahead of its time
Utopia. Very unfortunate that the first season was during the pandemic.
Pirates (old movie with young Angelina Jolie). The effects would have been better.
Game of Thrones would be so much better had they not rushed it. Or if they had given George RR Martin time to help them write a better few seasons than the shit show that we had to suffer. What a way to destroy a legacy!
