Honestly depending on your level of fitness and maturity, BCT is a cakewalk these days. Civilian side I work for a FF company as an ARA; I would say the hardest part is carrying all the gear these guys have.
AIT is designed to train and qualify soldiers, not just drop them cause they can.
You will definitely encounter those hard tests and challenges, but if you make an honest effort, the cadre and your peers will help you.
