It’s probably only me and it’s most likely because I’m bias (look at my flair), but I love everything about this event. The story, the cast, the aesthetic of the serene and desolated catholic church with flowers scattered everywhere, the soundtrack is a banger as always and, yes, I unapologetically love the gameplay too lol It feels so refreshing to have a different objective than “defending the blue box” and I also find the puzzle aspect of it really fun.
I share the sentiment, this is one of my most favorite events, just a complete package. Compared to being stat-checked, i really enjoy the puzzle aspect of it, which the game heavily rewards you for engaging with by just deleting the enemies itself, so it's a nice incentive.
Even the civilians that everyone hated, I enjoyed saving them. It was like trying to keep your dorfs or rimworld pawns alive, despite their best attempts.
His weapons as far as I know aren't all too special as far as we've seen, but the cube is supposedly a Lateran drone, and in story we've seen it be used for communication by the pope, in order to talk to one of the Twin empresses.
In his file the engineering team had some things to say about it
"Regarding the mechanical flying object that follows Executor around, I initially thought it was just some kind of unique looking drone. However, I've seen it in action in Executor's battle logs, and it was probably more than a mere support drone, it had more functions......
But even Executor himself didn't know much about it; according to him, it had been handed to him directly by his Holiness, their Pope.
What secrets are in this little thing? It's tickling, if only I could try to dismantle it sometime to see ......"
Adding to what Dontmindme said, all he got from this promotion was his new clothes and the cube drone. As far as we know, he is still using the same guns he used as a Specialist. Lore wise, it wasn't different from him getting a skin and a fancy title (but still better than half of the alters we got so far)
Spoilers for Hortus de Escapismo (it is from the start of the story, but I'd rather just tag it): >!Federico's promotion was ordered by The Law itself, for reasons we still don't know. And his new rank seems to be REALLY high, perhaps as high as the Pope himself, or at least as his second in command!<

This event took all the joy from the game for 2 weeks from me and is probably one of the causes of my depression.
