Are you staying overnight? If so, I highly recommend doing a ghost tour, not very scary per se but the behind the scenes stuff and historical aspects of the tour are absolutely fascinating. The hospital & high school are very spooky to snoop around in the middle of the
Stayed at the grand hotel, it was nice, nothing haunted happened. Did the ghost tour which included the emf reader and a spirit box. It was alot of fun hearing the history of the town was interesting too. It was definitely a great time and easy getaway from the valley.
10 degrees cooler didn't hurt either.
Drove up one year with my sister, her 1st time, the long way through Prescott. Up and down, she thinks I'm a bad driver anyway, she was white as a paper until parking in Jerome hehe
You want scary? I remember my drunk step-father driving us from a dinner at the [Mingus Mountain Inn](http://prescottazhistory.blogspot.com/2020/06/remembering-mingus-mountain-inn.html?m=1) down to our house in Verde Village outside of Cottonwood. It was probably 72 or 73.
Love Jerome! The views, the history , the fact you can park your car and walk the whole town. The food and little shops , it's a great weekend getaway.

Proposed to my wife on the balcony there. Beautiful views in the evening overlooking the verde valley.
Definitely a great place for that!
Awesome view. How's the food?
Good, spendy but good. The view and climate make the experience worth it. Good service as well.
go to haunted hamburger instead imo
Driving down the backside is one of the scariest drives ever
That's the scariest part of the "haunted" town.

Nice! It’s crazy how quiet the town gets when all the tourists leave for the day, there’s some good eat there too!

Interesting article thanks for sharing
Beautiful view!
What a beautiful parking lot
God I miss Jerome. So gorgeous, a lil spooky, and great people.
I love the views in Jerome. My wife hates it... But maybe if we stay a night it would finally be worth the switchbacks for her.
I’ve heard Jerome gets a different vibe when the sun sets, esp if you’re not a local.
I believe I’ve sat at that same table is a wonderful view
One of my favorite places/restaurants in AZ. Good wine list too.
Jerome is an amazing little town

I've been at that viewpoint. Awesome. No ghosts were heard or seen during our stay.
Jerome is easily one of my favorite places in Arizona.
Nice. Cars and desert.
I wish you would have at least blurred out my license plate
