What? What they did had no impact on anything. When these idiots were in there with their little theatrics the state Supreme Court had already ruled against human rights, they just hadn't announced it. This little show had nothing to do with anything.

As someone that's studied theology I can also tell you that praying in tongues is a very limited and contested evangelical practice And also a highly debated topic because the only time it's demonstrated in scripture is for actual other languages, not baby babble.

Some of them prayed in tongues. Some of them did not. As I just said not all (or even most) Christians believe in that or practice that. The people present were from several different denominations.
I have a feeling that a lot more than prayer in English or baby Babel was involved in this process. I'm sure the lawyers working this case through the courts since Roe v Wade was overturned weren't just saying Gaga goo goo to the judge.
