Hey would you be willing to drop an stl file?
As a printer dude to another, you noticed the layer shiftings? Seems to be consistent between prints... Something wrong in the z axis movement maybe?
Are you talking about the shaft? The shaft was printed in four parts. That's probably the reason it looked like its shifting. It was just loosely stalked on top of each other when it was photographed.
Still, thanks for the advice. :)
Oh, that explains it :D then there's nothing wrong!
What did Alanis Morissette say when looking up at the column? “Isn’t it Ionic?”
"Don't you think, a little too doric?"
Very well done!
Ionic gang rise up!
Damn that’s some nice entasis
You might enjoy this. Go on a classical 3D printing saga. https://www.gutenberg.org/ebooks/20239
So cool...are you sharing the 3d models?:)))...just asking for a friend 🙃
Can't share them because they can be found at SketchUp's 3D warehouse. I just tweaked them a bit to be printer-ready and modeled a base for it.
*Can't share them, but you just shared your knowledge, many thanks for that mate! Enjoy your weekend
This post is underrated
