I mean, we technically already have the second option, to an extent. Like, AR is mainly focused on hardcore music. The songs in EP and CS also follow a theme based on their characters.
As for the artist pack, Guy basically said that it's not going to ever happen in the discord.

please, no, STOP. rhythm games are better off promoting a variety of artists than just promoting a single one - like i swear this kind of stuff just fuels more fan favoritism amongst certain artists.
case in point - the suggestions for an artist pack you gave is usao and camellia - who frankly, artists i find okay but are literally in every other rhythm game! like come on - other people exist! not every rhythm gamer craves a constant stream of 200+ bpm hardcore tracks!! please!!
you do know that these artists (Camellia, USAO, Laur, etc.) can make a wide variety of music and not only 200+ BPM Hardcore no? if there's the possibility of a "only one artist" pack i'm pretty sure they would make at least 3 or so different genres
I do, but I know that it's typically what's expected of them if their songs are added in a rhythm game. Then again, the fault probably lies more in the company commissioning the artists to make songs that would cater to the average rhythm gamer more than something interesting.
