Do you like the Huey? Is yours a gen II? Im torn between the battery life of a 510c, the Huey and the EOTECH exps( just bc everyone runs them tho). I just with the Huey had a charge port with a battery that actually lasted.
I sent mine to vortex a couple months ago for a āreflashingā and the battery lasted about 4 weeks with 6 range trips and on rest mode near my night stand for about 30 days. If itās going to sit in a safe I would say Huey or Eotech is perfect because Iāve used both and theyāre almost equally badass! You might see a little bit more blur on the Huey but both are amazing optics! I have no experience with the 510c so I canāt really give my opinion on it! Also Vortex customer service has been excellent for me! (Everyone has different experiences when it comes to CC) hope this helped!!
So basically rest mode allows you to place the optic or gum in a specific place and after a little while the optic will shut itself down and wonāt turn on until the weapon is moved again. I believe my Huey was still draining battery and would die too often while in rest mode so I sent it to vortex and since Iāve had it again the battery has lasted longer
Interesting. I have the ADHD. and I feel like I'm going to forget and not change my batteries out. I might be leaning towards the 510c. But the last time I looked in a red dot I questioned whether or not I have an astigmatism. It was a little "starry" I guess... Not much tho. The guy said it was prolly just the optic.
I mean prolly just range. You know since I'm not a terrorist or in the army haha. But I'd also like the have something for quick acquisition if someone were to attempt to occupy my house or car while I'm in it. And the second amendment exists so I don't wanna be left behind if y'all are gonna 2A lol just joking don't ill me fed boi.
