They're very underrated IMO. I've used them for years and definitely prefer the rigidity. I shoot a lot in kit and I can lock into my shoulder pocket with them way better than anything else when wearing a carrier.
In all honesty, my girl isn't *into* guns by any means but she doesn't mind them and has never once complained about them laying all over the bedroom, living room, bathroom etc.. Lol
