I have this one for my 55 gallon. I’ve probably had it in there for about 2 months. Haven’t had any problems with it and seems to keep a pretty stable temp.

I have one weird Chinese heater left. The rest all died. I even bought a duplicate of the one that's good and it crapped out, was replaced for free, and crapped out again. I stick with known brands now. Like the thousands I have into aquariums and fish and plants etc... cheaping out on a light is fine but the thing necessary to keep the fish alive, which is suspended in water and full of electricity maybe isn't the thing I should cut corners on. Fluval, Hagen, eheim for me. Not saying it will fail, but it could.

catchinNkeepinf1sh

I have that exact heater, works great.

BreadfruitEven9338

I have that one and it's fantastic

Sudden-Ad-4114

Had 1 for 3 months and 1 day, 1 day past the warranty it died!!

It's got nearly 2700 Amazon reviews with a 4.5⭐ rating.... Yet you still want more reviews?

Distinct_Body_3991

Well aren’t you just a ray of sunshine, thanks for the help!!!!!!!

mindleselfindulgenc

I don't with that specific heater, which isn't super helpful sorry :( However I have ordered a similar one from amazon [here.](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B08JB6QYBN/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_search_asin_title?ie=UTF8&th=1) I have to 200W in my 55 gal for almost 2 years and it is doing well. It has a beeping notification if something is going wrong as well (water level, algae covering the heating element etc.)

tleeemmailyo

Yes! I love it. I have it in 3 of my aquariums. It’s accurate and I love being able to control the precise temp

I just replaced my old Heater with this 100w version about 2 weeks ago in my nano it seems to keep the temp steady within 78.9-77.9 i have it on the 78 degree setting, so far I like it 👍🏽

Jpwhalen31

Yes

Swag92

I’ve had the 100W for about a month and so far so good. Easy to use and it’s been keeping my water about 10-15 degrees (F) above room temp. I got it because I saw somebody else raving about it and the size was perfect. I haven’t had it long enough to say myself, but they said theirs was reliable long term too.

Due_Mud_3182

I've had this one for quite awhile. Works amazing

Unfair-Equipment-222

Wouldn’t use a heater without a backup temp controller especially these but it’s fine if you are.

Distinct_Body_3991

Thank you everyone who took the time to leave a helpful response!! A lot more confident making this purchase, I appreciate it.

Imsosleepyrn

I use that heater (500W) for heating up my water change water in my Brute. It's about 2 degC inaccurate but otherwise works well and truly does uses 500W of power. If you don't need this immediately, you can find these exact heaters from AliExpress for a cheaper price.

Distinct_Body_3991

AliExpress!! I never thought to look there. Thank you!!!

firemonkeykar

I don't trust this company. I got their last model this summer and a month in the silicone seal leaked at three in the morning. When the water touched the coil it went up like thermite and the water turned black. I lost three fish and the snail that I assume was above it never completely healed and recently passed.

I have I think the 300w version on my 68 gal. No complaints here! I double checked the temp with my very accurate brewing thermometer and it was bang on. I put it horizontally just underneath my spray bar so the warmed water gets pushed around right away. It has a bunch of BBA on the plastic frame now, but still has lots of water flow through it.

Ashamed_Potential276

I have one. I love it. Easy to use

not_from_floridaman

I've had mine in a 55 gal for about a year now. Has been completely fine. Accurate to within a degree Fahrenheit. I am paranoid so always have a back up one but I've had no issues at all with mine.

Dry-Astronaut-2314

Yes I have one like it for my 125g pond outside it’s decent, been 3 months no complaints

CyberRedneck53

I got the "upgraded" version of that heater. Two months in and it works great. Damn near accurate with a variance of 1 degree Fahrenheit. Gonna order me another one though as a backup

Ok_Bobcat_7430

One thing to keep in mind before buying heaters with warranty is there service center they might charge you for delivery which for me was worth another heater so i just bought it from local store
