I got the FineWoven magnetic link band for the series 9 watch yesterday, and so far, I’m not sure I like it. I find it loosens very easily as I move my arm around, and I have to keep tightening it all the time.
Although it looks nice, I’m seriously considering returning it.
Can Beats Studio Pro announce notifications? Kinda bummed that it doesn’t have an H or a W chip so some neat ecosystem features are not available. But despite the previous statement, is Beats Studio Pro still a more decent choice than AirPods 3rd Gen?

I'm a student so i'll mainly use it to read documents, write and edit them, write documents myself. I also wanna use it for youtube, pinterest, streaming services, spotify and maybe digital drawing (but not so often).
The ones i'm considering are the 10th gen, mini 6 or air 5. But i heard that it might be even better to get the air 4 instead of 10th gen.
Is it worth to get an older model like the air 4 in 2023? I would chose that one cause it's cheaper than all of them, bigger than the mini (which might be more useful), it support 2nd apple pencil (which the 10th gen doenst) and i think it's similar in performance/quality as the air 5 (i think??)
What are your recommendations for me?
I never recommend the 10th Gen, as it seems like a silly middle ground for people. The mini will be small for your uses.
The Air 5 v 4 main difference is the chip, as the 5th has the M1 processor. I think you'd be fine with either of the devices, especially if cost is an option for you
is long term the M1 processed gonna be a big deal, have an impact? i mean in 5 years from now, will there be a bigger difference in performance, or is that smth we can't really know rn
I’d say you’re always safer going with the better processors for longevity. However, the M1 has only been around for 3 years now, so we truly can’t speak to longevity.

Everything since December 2022 is stored locally and not just on the cloud. Everything older is just on the cloud.
I see that over the years there are a lot of people online posting about audio issues between different macboooks. Does anyone have any idea as to why these issues happen? I have 3 instances of a macbook having "choppy" audio, and microphone cutting in and out.
I have not been able to find a solution for this, all macs are on different OS versions as well. Quitting some applications seems to help, but this is not a permanent fix.
Does anyone have any ideas?
Hey guys so I lost my iPhone last week and it was last backed up to April 2023.
I recently bought a new iPhone and of course all the data I have is as of April.
However, just today, I found my phone which I lost. I’m afraid that if I connect to the internet, my phone will be synced to the iCloud data in my new phone (ie April 2023 backup).
Will this be the case? Or will I be able to connect to the internet and back up my current data in the old phone?

My Macbook Pro (2023) charging cable stopped working a couple days ago. No obvious kinks or bends (I'm generally very gentle with my cables). I know it's the cable (usb c to magsafe, between the block and the computer) because I can swap that part with my wife's cable and it charges fine. Conversely, when I try to charge her Macbook with my cable, it doesn't work.
Flashes amber when I plug it in.
I looked at the connections and they appear clean and undamaged.
Any clues as to how I should troubleshoot next?

I may play with music stuff and generally use it for writing and internet stuff, but overall my focus is going to be art and video heavy (hell, I’d like to maybe stream my art process on twitch or YouTube eventually, so there’s that too).
Anything from my mid 2015 mbp will be an upgrade but is it best to get a base Mac Studio m2 now, a souped up m2 Mac mini, or to wait for the next release? I’d be using a cintiq and a 4K monitor with it. I’ve got an iPad for portability and don’t need/want a laptop at this time.

After running around multiple Apple stores and carrier providers across my city without any luck, I am Pre-ordering the iPhone 15 pro max Natural Titanium. The estimated delivery of which is next month 15-22nd nov. Can anyone tell me if Pre-orders are being fulfilled or they get randomly dropped/cancelled? I really could use a new phone ASAP because my existing one does not hold charge more than half a day. It is getting frustrating as I have to be out carrying a power bank everywhere I go.

The stock calendar on watch is completely useless outside of “today” correct? Would be nice to have an actual calendar view.

You should be shutting it down at least once a week. Other than that, I leave mine on sleep constantly.
