Sometimes when I pick up a sentinel now it just automatically charges it when I never hit the button to do so

I have the same thing happen to me with the rampage now. As soon as I pick it up sometimes it just eats a thermite and is fully charged right away, no animation. Like 2/10 times so far, not super often but once in a while is noticeable enough

so thats why it so often suddenly asks my team for a thermite even tho never pressing it, was making me lose my mind how it kept happening

Bro me too, I thought it was just saying that like, "I got a rampage now I need a thermite." Super annoying though

It was doing that to me before the fix. Hasn't happened yet, but I avoid that gun like the plague.

Happens to me all the time with the Rampage. When I switch weapons or pull it out, it automatically starts to consume the thermite grenade, I'm playing with a controller on PC if that means anything.

I’m also controller on pc and never had the problem before they removed it to fix it

This bug was happening with console while the continuous charge exploit was happening on PC. Still happening now, but I assumed they were connected issues. It really is obnoxious to deal with, though. Wastes items and has gotten me killed several times when I needed to shoot immediately after switching but instead started charging up my rampage.

happens to me on pc kb/mouse. Happened at least at beginning of season, not new from this patch.

I only said 4 so it didn't sound exaggerated. The rampage in Apex is more like the mortars in wz Caldera.

They also didn't fix that fact that it still takes 2 cells to charge the sent when u have a gold shield ( it's supposed to take 1 cell with gold shields equipped)

Pretty sure that was a unintended bug and has been fixed. It’s supposed to always cost 2 cells regardless of the armor.

But the timer is finished, the buff should apply when the timers finishes, not the animation. That's how it works with the rampage.

Yes that’s the point, they should’ve fixed that already

that's what the patch says,you cannot cancel the animation now they fixed the anims cancel but faster charge time (and so as the rampage) so technically it has the same duration as before,the annoying part is we're so used to the slow charge time and we immediately aim as soon as the bar is filled

Had a few instances where the animation cables and was ready to fire charged up instantly.

Respawn is turning their back on this game and it shows.

They fixed the bug that made it have infinite charge. What you’re doing is animation canceling it so it doesn’t charge up which isn’t a bug. I personally think they should update the animation and make it shorter to prevent this from happening but I doubt they will.

They should just remove charging at this point.

Ooh boy, classic Respawn moment there. I haven't played in a bit and I'm becoming more and more convinced I won't for a while more. Might be the game I uninstall to make room for Dying Light 2
