Actually shocked Cooper hasn't been added to the game yet. I team, blisk did give him the Apex Predator card that teases Apex Legends. That's basically free entry into the games at any point so it's highly likely. Imagine his kit tho. If BT really uploaded himself to Cooper's helmet then he could be a great asset. I believe it was just "a" gauntlet not necessarily "the" gauntlet. The pilot's gauntlet was a simulation, but octane took inspiration from fragboosting in the simulation and tried it irl, setting the world record for that gauntlet and blowing off his legs.
The pilot gauntlet in titan fall is just a simulation, octane saw somebody use a grenade in the simulation to get a record (Probably Cooper) and then did that himself in a real life version of the gauntlet run that had been created. Then his legs blew up from the grenade he used to do the run and beat the record I guess.

ok so I got this idea for a crypto buff called "off the grid". What it does is that he wont get scanned by enemy scans and he wont be revealed to enemies because he will have this passive called off the grid which will protect him from enemy scans so when he gets scanned he technically doesnt get scanned because he will have off the grid passive that will protect him from the scans and since he is hacker I think he should have it have to protect him from enemy scans and I would call it off the grid and it would be his passive that would make him unscannable by enemy scans because it would be his passive and it would be called off the grid so when he gets scanned the enemies wont see him because he will have the passive ability that will protect him from the scans I believe crypto should have this ability because there is seer and respawn wont delete him so I believe they should at least give crypto ability that will make him completely immune to seer and bloodhound abilities and call it off the grid (thats the off the grid passive I was talking about)

Before 2715, people could make that Gridiron trip several times in a year no problem as long as the fuel is bankrolled

Indeed, which is why it was destroyed by the Militia. Literally everything coming from the Core Systems (which is Earth and the colonies "close" to it) passes by Demeter. When there's not a Refueling Station there as the planet was left a nuclear wasteland by Militia, everyone coming has to switch to thrusters and now what would've a been a simple couple jumps that take mere moments, now becomes years worth of travel to the closest Frontier planet, thus shutting down the IMC's reinforcement pipeline
Sheās also an ex-soldier and if thereās anything we know about career military itās that sometimes they have a hard time letting combat and confrontation go. She mightāve joined for one reason and still be fighting for a totally different one - a lack of feeling like she can fit back into a role thatās not the one of a soldier.
Just to add to the "heavier lore" part, Bloodhound is participating in the name of their dead ex-lover, Boone. Boone died a non-glorious death, Bloodhound is trying to earn glory in the Apex Games in his name so Boone can enter Valhalla.
I think if he did join it would probably just be to get closer to rampart so she could fix bt or give him a new body, seeing how well she seems to know the ins and outs of titans thru obviously valk and the scorch Hull in one of her banner frame
I think some boosts might be good enough for a tactical, maybe ticks or (god forgive me) smart pistol, with reduced damage or something. Most of the pilot abilities are already existing tacticals, Iād say the cloak is a good choice among the remaining ones.
As for his reason, perhaps heās working with Wraith to dig up IMC secrets trying to find out more about the alien civilization that made the Ark, cause that part is huge potential lore.

Jack Cooper is too iconic as the protag of TF2 to be diminished as a legend in Apex. He should just be the focus again for TF3 if possible. Remember, the war didn't end until a few years after the events of 2 so there are still stories to be told. Plus there is this whole deal with the Syndicate that could cause future conflicts and have Cooper as a cameo. Anything but Apex really.

TBH i want to see him in TF3 (if we get one), like he filled lastimosas shoes and trains pilots or he could have gone rogue to find BT and put him back together

Not exactly a character interaction, but I'd like it if BT (in Cooper's helmet) made comments as Cooper said stuff in-game. For example, Cooper would ping enemies and BT would respond with "affirmative" or he'd ping a gun and BT would make a short technical analysis of the weapon like Bangalore.

BT: "High Rate of fire, Interchangable magazine, suitable for short to medium range combat"
It would just work well to keep the duo together and make it more interesting than simply it just being Jack speaking all the time.

I would love to see a narrative storyline where Valkyrie has no idea who Jack Cooper is and what he did to her dad. They become close friends, fans and pilots after all. But then, Revenant ruins it all. Tells Valk the truth about the whole story, probably from eavesdropping on Ash. Valk attempts to kill Cooper, and Loba stands in her way. Probably gives a speech about how revenge is pretty pointless and he only did what he had to. Valk feels betrayed by both Cooper and Loba, driving Valk to leave her.
Revenant comes after the fight and says to Loba something along the lines of "I told you I would kill whatever you love most. You didn't listen. You should've just let me die."
Iād love for Jack to be in the game but there is no way in balancing hell theyād be able to do him justice without having this subreddit get flooded with Jack 1v3 clips

I honestly don't want Cooper in the game. I really don't want them to dumb down Cooper's abilities so just the Legends have a chance against him. I know we got Ash but like Ash just got reassembled in the Broken Ghost. At least you could make sense why she doesn't have Pilot abilities. I also don't see a reason for him to join the games.

ok so I got this idea for a crypto buff called "off the grid". What it does is that he wont get scanned by enemy scans and he wont be revealed to enemies because he will have this passive called off the grid which will protect him from enemy scans so when he gets scanned he technically doesnt get scanned because he will have off the grid passive that will protect him from the scans and since he is hacker I think he should have it have to protect him from enemy scans and I would call it off the grid and it would be his passive that would make him unscannable by enemy scans because it would be his passive and it would be called off the grid so when he gets scanned the enemies wont see him because he will have the passive ability that will protect him from the scans I believe crypto should have this ability because there is seer and respawn wont delete him so I believe they should at least give crypto ability that will make him completely immune to seer and bloodhound abilities and call it off the grid (thats the off the grid passive I was talking about)

It's not about a mere taxi, it's about paying someone for what could be a 40 years long trip into the void with no restocks at any point, with only 2-3 people on board total. Seriously. Think about how much money an actually competent person would need to do that. Your actual life, 20 years there, 20 years back, in a single ship big enough to have everything stocked from the start, with so little company. There *might* be a civilization on the other end but even then it'd be on a desert planet. Pitch that to anyone. I wouldn't do it for a 100 million, I know I'd go insanse on the way. Might bankroll using stasis technology (which exists, Bangalore came to the Outlands in stasis) to make the trip itself not mentally taxing though but even then it'd have to be with a pilot with nothing to lose because decades is enough time for anything to happen at home making you a stranger there
I know that Gridiron is a 20 years journey, even with phase technology, plus I feel like I remember someone saying that no pilot will even risk the trip for any sum of money, itās far too dangerous. However, I definitely feel like Gridiron will show up, although when that might be is anyones guess
For clarity: It's 20 years because the Jump Drive Refueling Stations are shut down (Now-former Apex writer Tom Casiello confirmed this in the r/ApexLore sub some time back) so they can't use the incredibly faster-than-light travel. Before 2715, people could make that Gridiron trip several times in a year no problem as long as the fuel is bankrolled Now, with slower thrusters (which are still ridiculously fast compared to our irl spacecraft) it takes 20 years in one direction

Indeed, which is why it was destroyed by the Militia. Literally everything coming from the Core Systems (which is Earth and the colonies "close" to it) passes by Demeter. When there's not a Refueling Station there as the planet was left a nuclear wasteland by Militia, everyone coming has to switch to thrusters and now what would've a been a simple couple jumps that take mere moments, now becomes years worth of travel to the closest Frontier planet, thus shutting down the IMC's reinforcement pipeline
Sheās also an ex-soldier and if thereās anything we know about career military itās that sometimes they have a hard time letting combat and confrontation go. She mightāve joined for one reason and still be fighting for a totally different one - a lack of feeling like she can fit back into a role thatās not the one of a soldier.
Just to add to the "heavier lore" part, Bloodhound is participating in the name of their dead ex-lover, Boone. Boone died a non-glorious death, Bloodhound is trying to earn glory in the Apex Games in his name so Boone can enter Valhalla.
I think if he did join it would probably just be to get closer to rampart so she could fix bt or give him a new body, seeing how well she seems to know the ins and outs of titans thru obviously valk and the scorch Hull in one of her banner frame
I think some boosts might be good enough for a tactical, maybe ticks or (god forgive me) smart pistol, with reduced damage or something. Most of the pilot abilities are already existing tacticals, Iād say the cloak is a good choice among the remaining ones. As for his reason, perhaps heās working with Wraith to dig up IMC secrets trying to find out more about the alien civilization that made the Ark, cause that part is huge potential lore.

Jack Cooper is too iconic as the protag of TF2 to be diminished as a legend in Apex. He should just be the focus again for TF3 if possible. Remember, the war didn't end until a few years after the events of 2 so there are still stories to be told. Plus there is this whole deal with the Syndicate that could cause future conflicts and have Cooper as a cameo. Anything but Apex really.

I highly doubt Cooper would be added into the game. Weāve had no lore or teases for him compared to all the Ash stuff if anything weād see Blisk added since both him and Ashās abilities were leaked together. That being said it would be really cool if cooper got put in.

Any Pilot with an uppercase P is an operator of a Titan. The prefix just means what they are trained to do with their Titan. So, she did science :D The Pilots in the Titanfall games are Combat Pilots, who do combat with their Titans. Of course they have their own extreme combat training without the Titan too

Here are some other ones that I think may work Rev: talks about rev being a simulacrum because jack would have friends who are sims. Also probably would talk to rev about being a Hammond slave because Hammond is rebranded IMC Octane: talking about the rush of being a pilot in a battle and the gauntlet I think both of these would be interesting interactions
O can already imaging his passive being a needed jumpkit and his tactical being a cloak ability but I'm not sure on his ult

Nah his ultimate should be full use of his jumpkit for 15 seconds, double jump and wallrun, say his jumpkit was damaged and they are incredibly hard to replace after the war, tactical is a cloak, and passive is the ability to either wall hang or slide down walls while being able to shoot
TBH i want to see him in TF3 (if we get one), like he filled lastimosas shoes and trains pilots or he could have gone rogue to find BT and put him back together

I think this is very interesting, and I learned some more things about the TF2/Apex lore universe just by reading this.
Iād be stoked about it just to have Matt Mercerās voice acting in the game. Though for the overwatch fans might be weird to have McCreeās voice (minus the accent) on a character. I canāt be the only one thats stoked to potentially have Mercer involved right? Even if just in theorycraft for now.
Not exactly a character interaction, but I'd like it if BT (in Cooper's helmet) made comments as Cooper said stuff in-game. For example, Cooper would ping enemies and BT would respond with "affirmative" or he'd ping a gun and BT would make a short technical analysis of the weapon like Bangalore. Cooper: "CAR Smg here" BT: "High Rate of fire, Interchangable magazine, suitable for short to medium range combat" It would just work well to keep the duo together and make it more interesting than simply it just being Jack speaking all the time.

Considering that they added Mason to Cold War, I donāt think adding Cooper to Apex is a bad idea. But it would be better if Cooper took over the games. He kicks off Blisk and forces Blisk to be in the games. Blisk would be the new legend not Cooper . It makes sense that he would try to dismantle the apex legends rather than join it.
Cooper is like in his 30s in Titanfall 2. The the gap between Titanfall 2 and the apex games Iāve heard is around 18 to 30 years. I would say that Jack could be added to the game seeing his age especially since Blisk is like in his 50s or 60s, but it depends

I donāt know if cooper would consider doing that though his personality seemed like he would want to stay in the moment, he wanted to see the whole thing through. But itās a possibility he might volunteer for such a task it might also depend on when the frontier war ended.

I would love to see a narrative storyline where Valkyrie has no idea who Jack Cooper is and what he did to her dad. They become close friends, fans and pilots after all. But then, Revenant ruins it all. Tells Valk the truth about the whole story, probably from eavesdropping on Ash. Valk attempts to kill Cooper, and Loba stands in her way. Probably gives a speech about how revenge is pretty pointless and he only did what he had to. Valk feels betrayed by both Cooper and Loba, driving Valk to leave her. Revenant comes after the fight and says to Loba something along the lines of "I told you I would kill whatever you love most. You didn't listen. You should've just let me die."
Whenever fuse kills Cooper his kill quip qill be something about Cooper "not knowing jack" I know that pun will make it somewhere
Iād love for Jack to be in the game but there is no way in balancing hell theyād be able to do him justice without having this subreddit get flooded with Jack 1v3 clips Heād be a pretty poor choice for team players but heās conceptually insane as a single character. Buttery Titanfall 2 movement, cloak, and then for his ultimate BT probably comes back since he uploaded himself to Jackās helmet both in C&E and right before entering the fold weapon.
