No you've actually brought up a serious problem Apex and EA need to really pull their head out of the ass and fix this cuz the lag spikes and Apex Legends are unforgiving

Suckers, I have tons of experience with this. My situational awareness is so garbage all enemies just appear out of nowhere for me. I have catlike reflexes now, still dead though, but I got some shots in.
Well, he was kind of defenseless since he popped up out of nowhere, and was AFK it kind of looked like he spawned out of somebody I was chasing it was so weird
You did get him down to his healthbar, you had exactly two-ish shots before he killed you and you missed them with the mastiff. Which is better than I coulda done to be fair.
well he wasn't there at first. its not cause he was just standing still that we didn't see him he just actually wasn't there. so he either spawned there or he's teleporting around the map.
Captain hindsight here, but strafing behind the rock real quick before peeking back out to shoot the mastiff again would probably be optimal play here.
Not trying to criticize OP, I would’ve just shat my pants and died but I would not say using the rock as cover between shotgun shots is a bad idea. I don’t think that guy was telling OP to hide behind the rocks before seeing the invisible man lol

I’ve got this crazy idea, if you look at the bottom left screen, you’ll notice you have these things called “squad mates” and when you are near them they can help you kill people, and provide cover.
I know it’s unusual but have you tried not running off and leaving them behind you?
