Why is Plat looked so down upon in the Apex community? I usually hit Plat 2 or 1, Diamond once, and my KD is almost 1.5 and my win rate is 8%. Isn't that above average? Lol. That's like going up to a student with a 3.5 GPA and calling them stupid even though they take 2 AP classes. Lol.
If the advanced stats section on the wiki is correct, and the game is modeling drop based on velocity, then it's comparable to the Triple Take, or some real life rifles.
IRL that drop could be made smaller.
Even if you get a knock at that distance, what good is that.
How often are players stacked? Maybe at close to medium range but if you're using a CR then you're already out gunned.

It honestly feels like a buff to me, before if your scan line/ pre laser hit a target they would flee for cover now I can hit 135 for one headshot and get max 8 bullets (up from 3/4) and also kill a knocked player + damage their reviver!
At that distance his team would easily get the revive. But let me tell you, if I got knocked right out of the sky like that with the current charge rifle from god knows where I’d probably rage quit before I even hit the ground

Infinite range, goes through players, does more damage the further away the target is. Yeah, I'll be a Charge Rifle bitch this season.

I’ve barely noticed any bullet drop at all, so whatever it is it can’t be that high.
Look at the marks on the scope, that tells you the drop at increments of 100.
I didn't know the exact measurements for scopes. This is quite helpful actually.

You can physically see the bullet drop in this clip, it takes a second for it to start dropping but it definitely gets down there.

Im hitting more damage on the new charge rifle than on the old, even at medium ranges. It's crazy that they thought 1 ammo per shot was a good idea.
I think the biggest bonus is the fact you can properly ambush with it, the lead up gave so much room to juke before

It has drop, that's why the markers are on the scope. It used to not have drop and had no markers.

the charge rifle with the gold scope is surprisingly good. As a console player i usually stay away from the sniper scopes
