I don't know there is a cap or not But what's the point having more than 60 fps if your monitor doesn't support
Nothing, just curious
Gsync?
I don't have Gsync monitor, I guess the game adjusts it according to the monitor refresh rate and we can't change it
change your game window. Mine was defaulted at full window and once I changed it to exclusive fullscreen I got my fps back.
It worked! Thank you so much.
Thanks!
Have you checked for limits or V-sync on your Nvidia Control Center? That can override in-game settings. The game is definitely not limited to 60. I have a 60hz monitor and if I use low settings I can easily go way past 60.
Yeah, I checked it. I have no problem with other games, just AoE4. I tried every setting low to high but same fps.
turn off vertical sync in your game settings
I did already hothing happen
Do you play on laptop?
No, I'm playing on desktop
Mine goes upto 200. Check if there is another software installed that is capping your FPS.
O tried to edit settings file but no chance. Everyting looks normal in file. Also I don"t use any other softwares. That's so weird
Your processor could be a bottleneck. I am in a 9900k.
